Is Your Facebook Engagement Down The Toilet?

If you are using FB to drive organic traffic to your site (and if you arn't you should be) but the engagement on your posts is low you might be missing one or more of these key strategies:

Prime Your Feed - this is essentialeveryday before you do anything else jump into your feed and for 15 - 30 minutes love and comment on every post in your feed. Don't use the like button, use one of the other emoji's eg. Love, Haha, Wow, Sad, Angry. Facebook gives no weight to likes.

You still need to read each post, the Facebook algorithm notes how long you spend on a post and it knows if you are trying to work the system. They are trying to ensure there are not bots within the platform and if you go too fast you will get flagged and possibly thrown in FB jail.

Also mention the original posters name and use the name link in your comment, this also shows FB that you are friends and have a connection with the person.

Having said that try to get through as many posts as you can in the alloted time. Don't dawdle through them, keep focussed, write a short comment, love, use their name and move on. You want to comment on as many posts as possible.

Consistency - you need to post on your timeline every day. Not necessarily at the same time but with a 24 hour period.

To Much Content - there is no need to post 2,3 or 4 times a day in fact it’s not helping you. You need to give each post it’s own time to generate engagement. By adding post upon post you will have none with engagement

Not Engaging With Your Friends - when you initiate or accept a friend request immediately send them a message, introducing yourself and invite a conversation. Also go onto their profile and love and comment on at least two of their posts.

Quality Content - go all out with every post you do. Provide high quality, valuable information that actually helps your target audience. This develops the know, like, trust factor. There are three type of posts you should be regularly using - results, value, lifestyle.

Reply To Every Comment - every comment on your post deserves a reply. If the person took the time to comment you should take the time to respond. Not only does it boost your engagement and mean FB is more likely to show your post to more people ... it's just the right thing to do.

🔥 I hope this helps with a few ideas on what you should be doing to ramp up your FB engagement. FB is a goldmine of leads for your business if you know how to work it.🔥

Hey Heidi,
Sounds like you've spent enough Time with Facebook.

There are useful tips I've not come across - must apply.
You're doing awesome.

Thanks for sharing.

I've done a lot of training, testing and tweaking that's for sure 🤣
I see so many people say they don't find it valuable, but they are simply missing the core ingredients to make it work perfectly for affiliate marketing.

👍👍

Thanks for the awesome tip. Though I don't much result in FB-- I'll this tactic and we'll see.
=)

Cheers!

Many people don't know how to work FB to see the results Mina. These tips will help for sure.

Thanks for this gold nugget!

You are very welcome Connie, hope it helps you some. Are you currently using FB?

No, not at this time, but in the near future.

Thanks, Heidi,

I haven't seen much activity on my Facebook account. Not a big fan of FB, but it can be powerful if used in the right ways.

I'll use these tips to help with posting my content and driving organic traffic.

Thanks again- all the best,

-Eric

FB is my main source of traffic and if your niche is present there FB can be great for warm leads, but the big caveat is "if your target audience is there and you are getting in front of them".

Hope this helps generate some activity on your account Eric

That sounds like a lot of time served on a platform that doesn't perform well for me.
I'll stick with Pinterest for the time being.

Absolutely Craig, horses for courses and if Pinterest is working why change I say. Once you get the hang of it, it's not too onerous 😀
