Off again, on again, a terribly horrible pattern, I know.
So I'm back working on my site, making a few changes. Well, a LOT of changes, actually. Using grammarly, I'm fixing my writing (I use a lot of slang, and I never realized that because everyone here all talks the same, lol). It's one of those things that never even donned on me before.
As I was working on editing my first page, I went into one of my affiliate programs to get a link, and realized that their whole set-up changed! ugh. BUT.. my son taught me something.. a quick-fix, maybe. Besides the wealth of info here, I just did a quick video search (and I do NOT like videos, I find them hard to follow, for some reason.). But a bit of one video here and a bit of another one, and soon what I was confused with made a bit more sense.
I also signed up for Amazon affiliate, which I swore I would never do. But times are-a-changin', and I must too. Their program is odd... you have 3 months to make 3 sales. If not, you're definitely out. If you do, then they approve or deny your application to work with them. Makes no sense to me, maybe it's to weed people out and have less work for them?

PICTURES... ok... this one is getting to me. I totally HATE my home page, and I don't like how the pictures go into my site. So I will dig through some tutorials here, because I know that someone had an amazing tutorial for pictures.
Somewhere down the line, I paid for Grammarly and AIO, so I'll put those to use.
I have to make a google doc and start taking note of everything.. I was using pen and paper, but guess what? Yep, I lost half of my papers. So, going digital is another new one for me.
And as for the youtube, tictok, etc. where your voice has to be heard... is there a way around that? I have one of those squeaky, irritating voices. It comes in handy sometimes, but I highly doubt someone will listen to a video. That will be another learning curve for me to hit.
Right now, I will redo my current pages, SEO and affilaite links, etc.
I'll get it, we all will. We're in the right place. How's that song go? 'I'll get by, with a little help from my friends' (something like that)
