My https://levelupyoursuccess.net/what-affiliate-marketing-is-all-about-and-how-does-it-worka/ Reads like this and I need to correct it.

You can change the slug in Quick Edit. However, if the post is already indexed, you should do a redirect from the old one to the new one.

Thanks phil1944 that's a big help

You're welcome, Mark.

Hi - I presume you mean you want to change your permalink because you have spelled "work" incorrectly.

I wouldn't worry about it, most people wouldn't notice it, and it won't stop Google from understanding what your post is about.

Okay thank you for the input.

Shows connection is secure

Correct it to? What information?

I tried the URL; it shifts correctly. Have you done some redirection? However, if I get to type the 'a' as in 'worka' it would give me a 404

Okay thanks AbiePplus, that's a big help.

You're welcome, Mark! Please keep us updated on your progress.

Sorry, what exactly are you trying to do here Mark? I am a little confused.

Your article is https:// (as your website is https://)

Please clarify and we will give you a hand here. :)

Thanks Kyle, phil1944 helped me fix the problem.

I'm trying to add a CNAME record that points www at target.clickfunnels.com?

Hello! you can try this and see if it works. To add a CNAME record those points "www" to "target.clickfunnels.com," you'll need access to your domain's DNS settings.
The steps to do this may vary slightly depending on your domain registrar or DNS hosting provider, but I can provide you with general instructions that should guide you through the process.

Here's how you can add a CNAME record:

1. Log in to your domain registrar or DNS hosting provider's website. This is where you manage your domain's DNS settings.

2. Look for an option to manage your DNS records or access your domain's DNS settings. This is usually found in the domain management or DNS settings section of your account.

3. Find the section where you can add new DNS records and choose to add a new CNAME record.

4. In the "Name" or "Host" field, enter "www" (without the quotes). This will create a subdomain "www" and point it to the target.

5. In the "Value" or "Points to" field, enter "target.clickfunnels.com" (without the quotes). This is the destination or target where the "www" subdomain will be pointed.

6. Save the changes. The CNAME record might take some time (usually a few minutes to an hour) to propagate across the internet, but it should start directing "www" to "target.clickfunnels.com."

Please note that the actual steps and terminology might differ depending on your DNS provider, but the general idea of adding a CNAME record remains the same.
If you encounter any specific issues or need more detailed instructions, it's best to refer to your domain registrar's support documentation or contact their customer support for assistance.

WA support said the following when I asked questions regarding a Shopify store:

“You can point the domain to another host (ex. Shopify) by adding their CNAME record. We do not allow to set up a custom A record...”

“Please note that you can create a subdomain here at WA and point the CNAME records to Shopify.”

Contact Support like I said.

Tom

I would like to know how to do this myself. I was told to contact support, and I did three times.

I am just going, to be honest, they were not able to do it. So, I would like to know a solution to this problem myself. I hope you don't mind me following this question. Plus I hope this issue can be resolved.

Hi Mark,
Contact WA support to get that done.
Hope this helps,
Tom

thank you, it worked

Thank you and glad to hear that!
