When Life Changes Unexpectedly
As we know, life can sometimes change unexpectedly. I have read enough profiles here at WA to know that I am not the only one that has seen some unexpected changes in my life. So the question becomes, what do we do when we have one of those unexpected life changing moments.
First, I think it is important to remain close to our spouse or significant other. They have chosen to walk with us through life, don't push them away in the moment you need them the most. They may be the one who has to take care of you, nurture you and help you in time of need.
The next one is a little tougher! Don't let the unexpected life change make you bitter. That can be difficult, especially when someone else has hurt us or caused the unexpected life change. How do we do that? I think one of the keys is not to focus on the bad or the hurt. I know that isn't easy, but we need to focus on the positive that is in our lives at that moment. When we focus on the positive, it takes the focus away from the negative. When that happens, we are able to start moving forward and getting past the pain of the moment.
We all face life changes. Let's keep our loved ones close and focus on the positive.
