3+ Months in WA - I Have a Piece of Advice (not cake)!
Honestly, i thought i was here long time ago.. lol!
I just realized, i`ve only been here for 3 months. Probably because i have learned so much from this platform. My first website is up and running, and now currently started my bootcamp training and creating my WA-affiliated website.
Do you know that i "seriously" started my online business education at WA?
I am so proud of myself for doing the trainings and be on it!
BUT - i`ve been sidetracked at some point.. i didn`t realize that the "ONLINE WORLD" is this huge!!
Outside WA, there so many educations, ideas, platforms.. and before i knew it, i was already in the "other side"!
Then, I was overwhelmed! I got scared! I had doubts!
AM I DOING THE RIGHT THING?
Then, again, i went back to my community, the Wealthy Affiliate community - and i know..
I am home:)
So, the piece of advice? STAY FOCUSED!

Yes, it is really, really easy to get distracted by all the flashing lights and loud sounds all around you in the internet marketing area. It's good to learn from different, competent people, of course, but one or two at a time.
What I like about WA is that everything really is laid out in a nice sequence that you can follow from start to finish. Most give suggestions about this or that (and they may well be good suggestions), but they are not organized in the most useful way from start to finish like it appears to be here at WA.

I find the best way to avoid them is log on to WA as soon as I turn on my computer. WA is sooo interesting that I stay hours working away before I get 'side-tracked'.
Even Facebook doesn't compare to the interaction here at WA.

I hear ya! It's so easy to follow the shiny nuggets only to find that its fools gold! Then having to rewind is a bit discouraging knowing you followed another dead end. But to jump back on the real road to success, which is following the training here at Wealthy Affiliate now that is brilliant. Smartest thing ever! It definitely opens your eyes to all of the opportunities that are out there. But it's best to take it one step at a time. Complete the training first, and then pursue all of the other opportunities.
Hi Hanna - I am semi retired and can tell you honestly that for me the whole world is a distraction
- sticking with goals can be a chore
- you are doing great if in 3 months you have already completed the first training with a site up and running plus starting on the affiliate training - wow that's a lot
- I started on the affiliate training and am only on phase 2 and have been a member for just over 2 months
- like you whenever I feel I'm drifting away I check back into the platform and find it's so easy to get back into my work

So that boot camp one sounds like it will be good to do it to after the other one can't think what it is called but am on it trying to get my website up and running
It's Online Entrepreneur training... I suggest take also Affiliate Bootcamp training.. I guess, just take advantage of all the lessons here..

I knew nothing about any of this just three weeks ago. I now have three sites up and running and three in the wings. I'm rocking this!
B|Great job Virginia glad to here you are doing so good I hope you are making some money with them all don't know if I will be able to handle that many sites am having enough problem getting this one up and running not to mention the cost of all them sites. Any way keep going and rocking this WA.
The Lord helped me with the cost and I'm not worried about the income yet, I'm laying foundation right now.
Thanks, Hanna, feel your pain and understand exactly what you mean. I am six months in and was also brand new when I started out. I find it a constant battle to keep faith in what I'm doing and believing I can make a success of this. I have committed to the long-term and totally believe I am on the right track, and pushed everything else away that suggests anything else.
It is really about the strength of the mind, so thanks for your reminder to stay focused...
just happen to see you here and thought I would follow you. Best of luck they are making money here it just takes time.
