conversational marketing and the modern business, do we need it?
I have just been researching the use of Chatbox marketing and the effect on business.
For several years one on one marketing went virtual with the use of web pages and funnels to gather sales. Then, along came AI ( artificial Intelligence) and all the questions could be asked without the use of labour.
Google Siri is an example of this.
However it has been failing in many areas and there has been a need to change the way we do business.
Customers want answers for support, sales or delivery and if you can't get the answers you move on.
It has been shown that live chat boxes can increase sales by 3x on average.
The customer is calling so there is a need.
The buying hot buttons can be exposed.
They can ask for an order.
Analytic can be used to expose errors in handling.
At Wealthy Affiliate they have introduced Live chat for support issues. I have used this several times to good results and solving the situation without a lot of pain.
If you are dealing with support issues and have either email access or AI chat boxes that can take days to fix an issue you will soon understand the frustration of no live contact.
Live chat bots are growing very fast and it is estimated from a recent survey where 80% of businesses said they would have one by 2020.
So how does this affect you?
Moving forward with Internet marketing the use of conversational marketing will increase in all businesses so your knowledge needs to expand to meet the demand.

Never-ending knowledge to be gained here, but sometimes it can be overwhelming, and to think, we haven't even seen the tip of the iceberg!
