It's A Climb
It's A Long Way Up The Mountain
As many of you know by now, there is no such thing as "get-rich-quick" on the internet. Really this probably does not exist anywhere. Our journey to financial success and that liberating freedom is a tough and sometimes lengthy climb to the top.
I am so happy that I found the WA platform and this amazing community. Every day, it simply takes logging on and checking the feed to find words of inspiration, encouragement, and positivity. Anyone who has found this platform has no excuse at all for why they can not succeed.
Here we can truly become victims of our own success. You get back exactly what you put into it and that, to me, is what destiny is called. If it is your dream to become a millionaire or maybe to just create some supplemental income, then you have at your disposal, all the tools necessary to achieve that.
When I came into this I had no idea at all what I was doing. I knew one thing for sure though, I wanted to create an income source that would allow me to get away from the 80+ hour work weeks and spend much-needed time with my growing children.
Thanks to WA and all the amazing people that are part of it, I am well on my way. My affiliate site is growing at a fantastic rate and I feel like it could be any day that it just explodes.
What I have learned here has also helped me realize that I have many more talents that can be applied to make an income from home. I am officially no longer in need of any kind of hour to hour job. I have been making a sufficient income from freelance writing and proofreading.
This is not to say that I am anywhere near here I'd like to be financially as we are still on a very tight budget. It is enough however, that I can now stay home each day with my four amazing children and not miss out on the little things. Little things that I didn't even realize were there before.
My site is well on its way and I am learning new skills and techniques every single day. Again, I can not stress enough how critical WA and the community have been in this journey.
Has anyone else been able to utilize the teachings here and expand their skill sets into another form of income?
I wish everyone the best success and remind you to always ask any questions you may have. Don't ever be afraid to try something new, you just might find out that you are exceptional at it.
Have a productive day everyone,
Hammer11B

I definitely identify myself with some portions of your great blog and as you so eloquently described as part of your journey here at WA.I must be totally honest and mention I have a clear goal on creating, building and achieving an income source that allow me to become financially free and be my own boss.Don´t want to be another slave of 9 to 5 jobs anymore or be a part of someone´s else dream. But; sometimes it really scares me a bit or a lot on how much I have to learn and master that; at times just like you before, have no idea what am I doing.!?
I know I have decided to be persistent, to build my way up step by step here at WA and just hope and pray to God I have the mindset and fuel to keep me going everyday towards achieving my goals and desires.
This blog of yours Hammer surely is motivated enough and a fountain of inspiration for of all of us rookies and everybody else at Wealthy Affiliate. Thanks a million and keep it coming buddy.
I am really glad you were able to find some inspriration here Xavior. I would love to see everybody here achieve what ever goals it is that they have. This kind of "give and be given" community is an amazing place for all of us that are new to this industry to learn and grow without getting trampled by all the big shots in the business.
As always, you have delivered a needed dose of inspiration.
Curious about the freelance writing gigs -- been trying to break into a few myself, but so far to no avail (that reviewer site got to be too frustrating).
Got some pocket change doing surveys, though (my wife is now addicted to those), but crunch time looms.
Before that, I am digging my heels in to really get myself where I feel I need to be with WA before the end of the month.
So far, so great!
WA has helped me keep my original blog, www.thecriticscritic.net, off life support, and now I am seeing greater viewer engagement thanx to utilizing both the tools and community here.
You are a dynamic individual and someone I enjoy following.
Keep it up!
Thanks for all your kind words Jace. Some sites I have been having really good results lately with for freelance writing have been upwork.com, fiverr.com, and my go to at the moment is iWriter.com.
I will probably be putting some reviews up in few days for these on my site.
Alright just finished the iWriter review. I hope you like it.

Good to hear Nathan. You are a work horse and it won't be long until your site will see 500 or more visitors per day.
John
I really hope so John. Don't get me wrong, the freelance writing can be fun and it is paying the bills but I would much rather it be for myself 100%. At 500 visitors a day that will be much more likely.
Good morning! And thanks for the AM Inspiration...
What is your website i would love to check it out?
I hope you have another productive, prosperous day~
I am glad you found this inspiring. Sometimes that is all we need to get moving. My site is ThisDadWorksAtHome.com, thanks for wanting to see it.
Hi Hammer11B. Yes the climb maybe long and drawn out but the rewards you reap, makes the journey worth it.
It's great to hear that you get to spend more time with your children as well. Sounds like it wont be long away for you to do a celebration dance.(Financially speaking)
Good luck.
Have an awesome day. Angela
I am not much of a dancer but I will definitely be celebrating. I am optimistic it will happen within this year.
Oh well, Your heart can dance with joy instead.
I love your optimism.
Keep up the good work.
Angela
Thanks for the new insight, it is only when we start climbing that we will see from the higher heights broader perspectives of the horizon of our opportunities than if we had remained at lower level, meaning the importance of taking action..
Action is everything in business... and life for that matter. So long as we keep pushing forward we will be making good progress.
With the combined income of all the freelance writing I have been slaving over and the little bit of affiliate money coming in from my site, I hit about 80% of what I had previously been making at my old job. I can't wait till it gets to a point here I can be comfortable completely.
I agree with everything here. It really takes time and hard work. Day by day it gets better and know that one day it will take off. We just need to put in the work to get results.
- Kasey
Right you are Kasey. The great thing here at WA is that we all get to be there to see each other rise.
