The best thing would be to register your works for copyright. This is the manual if you reside in the US.

Hope it helps!
Thank you for your quick reply.

So there must be something similar for Australia perhaps?
I'll look into it.
I appreciate your help.

In the past I have visited websites whose images seem to be locked. What I mean is on most websites if you right click an image you can then, Save As. But on these websites they seem to have locked you out from doing this.
This is called Copy Protecting Images on your Website.
Another plugin you could use is Watermarking.
You can achieve this in your Website Back-end (WordPress Dashboard).
Just click on Plugins - Add New
Then type the name of the plugin in the Search Box.
I have added some images below of plugins to search for.
I cannot guarantee these plugins will work on your Theme. Some Plugins work on some themes and not on others.
If it doesn't work for you, then deactivate it and then delete it.

My website angelasairbrushingart.com was created to share with my audience all about the ins and outs of airbrushing. My dilema is, "How do I get protection from people stealin
I must be going crazy, I thought I already answered this. LOL How do I protect my own images on my website?
Nope David, you are not going crazy ... and this is exactly why we are not supposed to ask a question more than once. You're answer was VERY well stated. Sorry that I did not notice that you had already answered this very same question previously.
It was my fault cause I wasn't sure where to ask the question. So I asked in two different places. I'm still learning. I know now not to do this.. Angela
I think the watermark idea is good Trish. I have heard of another idea. To share low quality pixel version of your art so they don't want to steal it. But it sort of defeats the purpose. :-)
Oh that's cool. I often have trouble finding my way around WA. I hope you will be able to protect your artwork. However you probably already know that as soon as you put anything in public, it is no longer private. (funny about that LOL).
Hey Angela,
What I've always remembered being told is this, if you do not want your images taken then NEVER share them on the internet. However, you can watermark your images.
The following article details 5 things you can do to protect your online images: https://www.photoattorney.com/five-things-you-can-do-to-protect-your-online-images/
Hope this helps you.
