Starting Over

They say you only live once. I believe I'm living proof that - that just ain't so. Every decade of my journey through life up till now has been a whole new lifetime of new loves, new discoveries and new opportunities... which is why I'm about to be starting over.

Thanks to WA, I am afforded the choice to jump into the virtual time machine and do it all over again. And this time, do it better for the second time around.

No, I'm not abandoning my first website here. However, in my first year, I chose too broad of a niche and I've ultimately created a situation where I have to put in too much work for too little monetary reward. Given some tweaking and some more time, it may eventually become more lucrative than it is now, but the time has come to go in another direction.

I have been a rideshare driver for several months now and have decided to share my experiences with Lyft and Uber. Not only as a driver, but as a mentor. As I meet new people, go on new adventures and gain knowledge about life in a car out on the mean streets of the city (and the friendly ones, too), I will be sharing stories on my blog and Youtube. There are others already doing it, but only I can give it my unique spin.

Just as folks can become an ambassador for WA, the rideshare companies also have ambassador programs (the official Lyft Ambassador Program is phasing out, however there are other ways to be an ambassador, so the term still applies). Uber's is still very much alive.

I am hereby declaring myself "The Rideshare Ambassador" and have subsequently reserved that as my domain name (without the spaces). My mission for 2018 is to go through the Certification Training once more from beginning to end with this new site and not skip a single step.
