Can my YouTube channel have a different name and be connected to my website for which the url is in a different name?
For example, our website is: lifestyletipsandhacks.c

I've setup our new YouTube channel, it's only a week old. But I'm a little confused about how the views work. If the same person watches it twice, does it count as 2 views etc.
What are the criteria to accumulate number of views on the same youtube video?

Hello, yes it counts as 2 views. No matter how long they watch it a view is each time it is clicked on.
Laura
Laura, so are you saying - for example, if I watch my own same video 10 times, this will count it as 10 views?
Yes. But the views are not as important as the number of followers that you have. When you reach (I believe) a thousand followers you can then monetize your channel.

Status is scheduled, even thought the date and time is a past date of my post? So, very frustarting this. Can anyone explain this?
Hey Habib,
What I found worked was to open the post in Edit mode and then click Update. That was the ONLY way I could get it to go live... and the date and time remained as it was set.
Then, you may find you need to do the following: Introduction as that was the only resolve I found that worked to stop this from happening again.
Am assuming it is the security on the server that is making the WordPress scheduling option not work anymore.
Hope you find this helpful.
I've change the date of the post to yesterday, and it allows for the status to be changed to publish.
Seems like it's not published. Have you tried publishing it? Seems like you did an update to your post and didn't hit update or published. Triblu has some information that might help.

it does not allow the status to be changed to publish - that was the original question to my problem.

I have just created this video in mp4 format. It is 56mb in size. During upload and adding to my post i realsied the maximum size is only 32mb.
The length of the video is
I found a video compressor for $9 a month. Clideo. It may be worth checking out.
A second one called online converter.
I have not used either one. So please look at them closely.

Hey Habib,
Wealthy Affiliate pays BIG DOLLARS to have this membership site hosted where it is.
You could find expensive hosting yourself that would allow you to have all sorts of videos on your website; but why would you do that when you could just as easily use a free option... YouTube?
This way,
1.) your website will not be burdened...
2.) you would have your videos closed captioned for FREE...
3.) and, you have the option to make your YouTube hosted videos unavailable in their search by using "unlisted" instead of public... which would make it possible for you to embed your videos.
4.) This will make your site load faster too.
Hope you find this helpful.
I have now created my YouTube channel and have embedded all videos to my site: please check it out

I have created a video, which i want to directly insert into a post of mine, does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks - I have created a YouTube video and now have embedded all relevant videos I need for my posts :)
Hey Habib,
You are advised to create and use a YouTube account to upload MP4 or any other video format, and then embed your videos onto your posts and pages.
1.) Having a YouTube account could double your SEO by having your videos listed in SERPs along with your post.
2.) Your website will load faster without hosting videos on your website.
3.) You CAN make your videos Unlisted, so they do not appear in YouTube or Google search results but you can still embed them in your posts and/or pages.
Hope you find this helpful.
Thanks - I have created a YouTube video and now have embedded all relevant videos I need for my posts :)
And... now you will be ADA compliant too, because YouTube provides Closed Captioning of all videos uploaded to your channel. :-))
There are several ways, but I have discovered the best way for me is to post my video on my YouTube account, then I can either embed the link in my post or use an image from the video and attach a URL to the YouTube video.
The second method seems to do better with SiteSpeed when it comes to mobile applications.
Just my two cents!

You need to first host the video on say YouTube or Vimeo and then use the video block to place the video where you want it in your post.
