Focus Focus Focus!
One thing I have discovered in developing the new me online is that I can get distracted very easily by clicking on all the banners and emails and ads that appear in my daily quest. It reminds me of the movie "Space Balls" when the cross-eyed gunner is trying to defend the mother ship and is missing the enemies who are firing on them. After being criticized by his commander (Mel Brooks) he looks up with his cross-eyed stare and says.. " I'm doing the best I can sir". His problem is he has too many images to look at with no focus. One thing that would help him would be to close one eye. Try it. Cross your eyes, (mom said they would stay that way, but they won't), now look at some object and you will see two, close one eye, now you can focus. Close your eyes to things that can distract you from your stated goals. My focus should be laser sharp so I can quickly hit my target.

Great post Jerry. I am sometimes need to write my personal commitment to focus on a specific task before moving on the next one. Yes, I definitely need to close my eyes to some distractions. Thanks!
Good analogy Gerry lol. My distractions are constantly YouTube videos and checking email, but lately I've been forcing myself to stay on one task until it's done before moving onto the next. Not easy with all the distractions on the internet, but it's worth it!
