My first six months in Wealthy Affiliate
They say that time flies when you're having fun and oh boy, did it fly! I don't believe I have been at it for six months already. I initially followed somebody's link, started with a free account and within a few days, I was convinced that this was the right thing for me.
I started my first site which I must say, is not the best choice for quick response affiliate marketing but it was and still is a project that I want to follow through, so I'm still at it with my crazy idea. However, I do understand what has to be done and I have started another site with something a lot more within the scope of WA teaching.
I will be taking a leap into the unknown starting new year but it won't be my first time. I have learned to fall soft and get up quickly which is what I plan on doing this time around as well. It's a calculated leap that has to be done because if I don't do it now, I will most likely bog down and stay within the confines of the corporate world which I so much despise.
I have a job that takes up all of my day. Between the eight hours I put into it and the two hours of commuting to get there and back home again, I have a few hours left to work on my WA projects and dedicate to my family. I usually end up cutting down on sleep with all the consequences that brings.
So yes, I will leap with confidence and joy! I am sure of myself and what I can do within the Internet marketing world and I think that the timing is right even though I may not be in the best launch position possible. I will jump and reach for the moon cause that's the way it has to be. From all my friends in this great community, I just ask for your wishes and good thoughts. I'll take care of the rest! Thank you Griego for this post! It reminds me of my journey in WA. Sometimes we choose our niche not realizing how much time it'll take for completion. Especially when doing our 1st website. I kinda bit off more than I can chew also so now I will put that on hold in order to move in another direction with another niche idea that I have.
I am so grateful for the step by step training provided by WA because by following it, I was able to pinpoint my errors so that one day I may finally rank and be indexed.
Everything takes time, patience, and time management is important! WE MUST MAKE THE TIME IN ORDER TO SUCCEED! So cheers to this wonderful journey and learning experience! I pray that you and I both are SUCCESSFUL in WA beyond measure!!!
it definitely ain't an easy road. What I like about WA is that through its courses , examples and many other teaching methods, there is a sense of challenge that rises. Though intense by its nature, it wallows within the community, bringing a sense of well-being that is transmitted from member to member and spreads the knowledge and understanding of Internet marketing (and not only).
I do wish you the best of luck. I also think that WA attracts people with a strong character, many times badly treated or beaten but with a sense of dignity much greater than many a successful folk. I hope you find what you want. Kudos!
We are all here in the right place at the right time and our time is NOW! Like the little engine that could said: "I think can, I think I can" we shall all move forward with that same momentum. We must 1st believe in ourselves then trust THIS process! However long it takes, we shall press forward knowing the reward is within our grasp...NEVER GIVING UP!!! I am quite sure you and I both will find do just fine. :)
It looks like a wonderful journey you are having. To be honest, I enjoy it here, the learning and experience, it's just awesome. As you have said, time flies, very soon you will taking like Kyle saying "can you believe it's been 14 years" haha.

He, he, he. Yes, 14 years for Kyle. Wow! But I'm sure as you mention, it probably feels like yesterday to him, also. He has grown with this project.
It's great to be here. The whole atmosphere lifts you up and the community helps in many ways. I am in a similar boat as you. Very little time to devote to my website due to work, travel and family life.
I have great determination to make this work. Good to know others in a similar situation yet still perservering. We will get there and change our realities.
Visualize it, chip away at the sculpture that is your future life and one day it will become reality!
