I'm trying to install a plugin, but it's not accepting the API key. The product owner says my hosting must have "fsockopen()" enabled. Can someone help me with this?
This could be due to WA not allowing certain connections (a security thing). I suggest you contact support explaining and ask for one-time access to install the api key. :)

They have some plugins I need to be able to use...I got this message:
"Thank you for quick response. I have tried but failed to activate your Azon Authority plugins. Would you please double check with your host if they have disabled “fsockopen()” for security reason? If so then ask them to enable this since this is required for activation of Azon Authority plugin."
Could I get a one time dispensation to get this done?

We don't allow security plugins because we perform Wordpress tailored security measures that make these plugins redundant and they add unnecessary load to the server and performance reduction to your site.

It depends on exactly what you're trying to achieve and what your domain registrar where you registered the domain permits. Rich.
I was hoping to set up a 301 redirect as per Pobman's training. But it looks like I wont be able to do this as uk2.net don't appear to allow this!
No matter, I'm not sure it will help anyway.
I'm still reeling a bit, wrote a page 4 days ago and am now top spot page one of google for the search term! 4 days to number one...quite incredible - I must be doing something right as I have 72 subscribers to boot!

thanks tommy, sometimes I find myself whizzing along, others I'm stumped by the simplest things!
Go into the page or post and click on Screen Options (top right) and tick the boxes marked Discussion or Comments, etc. Rich.
You must be editing a Page or Post for this to work. It's rare that my ticking the Discussion and/or Comments boxes in Screen Options it doesn't add checkboxes beneath the editor window that lets you control this. However, it might be theme dependent, so also check Appearance > Themes and then any options to the right of the theme thumbnail image. Also, Settings > Discussion. Rich.
OK, if you've ticked the boxes in Screen Options, you'll now see that it's added a section "Discussions" underneath the editor window where you can control whether or not comments appear. :) Rich.
