Mystery Person as G plus image :

So, today I finally got sick of not having the feature image when I G+ my posts. It was a mystery person image like when you set up the gravitar for visitors.

So, after an hour of goggling why, I figured out my theme and my all in one seo plug was both trying to grab an image and neither one seemed to win.

Therefore, the mystery image person must have been winning lol. So, I went in the all in one seo and read what each social meta tag means and then had no idea what they were talking about :(

It said i had duplicate facebook meta tags and needed to stop one of them. But how?? I do not even use FB for my posts.

But then it hit me, I needed to go to general setting in all in one seo plugin and deactivate the social meta tag (i had activated it) and now my feature images are going with my G+ sharing. Woohoo! Now off to the next battle lol.

thanks..I've just spent the past week trying to figure this problem out... even submitted a support ticket... was told to try a new plug in... jeez... you just saved me!! can't thank you enough!! just as I thought... something simple!!

yes my theme builder said to do that but it never worked so I just kept trying and finally success :)

I have a problem with my images sometimes when they are forwarded to my social sites, not appearing correct. Sometimes it is fixed when I clear my cache and sometimes when I change the image size, often though it is just a mystery. How can it work one time and not the next? I try not to get stuck on it to long or I find I get to side tracked. Eventually, it all works out and the image is just how I want it to be.
