Dealing with excessive emails
This is mostly addresssed to us "newbies" as the "older" members of the WA family know this already...
I have recently read quite a few blogs referring to the high number of emails people receive/spend time on daily. I had this problem too for a while. Not only did I follow Helen Doyle'sadvice about editing my email preferences

but I find it quicker and easier to just go to the activity dashboard, click on activity and then popular. I can then see all the latest blogs and can choose what I need to read. That way I don't feel I am missing out on anything but don't have to open each mail to find out whether I want to read it or not.

Hi Vee, I have adjusted my email preferences and have cut my mail overload to half the amount. Irv.
That can be good thing, Valina, but sometimes I find that I miss out on some very refreshing and engaging post, so I think it's all about how you can manage. Thanks for provoking thoughts.
At the moment I'm dealing with an excessive amount of emails from my social media sites! I need to go and change the preferences because 79 emails a day is too much!
