ALERT: Awesome Training Video!
Good morning! I hope that everyone's weekend is off to a great start. Mine certainly is. Last night, I sat in on a training titled "How to Rank in YouTube Search". I have been working to improve my rankings for my videos. Not only are they a big part of my blog; but I work very hard on them, and thought it made sense to reach for a successful YouTube channel.
I'm so happy that I watched this webinar. It helped me to realize that I have not taken full advantage of keywords to promote my videos, or my blog for that matter. That's a really big deal! Instead of getting down in the dumps, I'm gonna incorporate Jay's advice immediately. I made sure to take notes during the training and even jotted down new content ideas for my blog. It was a great learning experience. If you need assistance in getting ranked, you should check out the recording.
Keep pushing,
Meghan
**p.s. If you google "cheat on paleo" and click on videos, you will see my video at the top of the list.My goal is to get the rest of my videos there.**

I have not seen Jay's latest webinar as yet due to time difference usually catch up I need to learn more on making a video just not sure what I would put in it as yet
Good luck, Katie. I didn't know how to make videos either until I started my site. I just took a deep breath and gave it a shot.Just try one video. You'll be surprised at how good you actually are.
A few tips:
~for inexpensive, royalty free music, try Pond5.com
~Windows Live Movie Maker (2012) is free and it's the only version of Movie Maker that's worth having
~Maybe your first video could be an introduction. Just tell your potential readers who you are, what your site is all about, and invite them to visit it.
Good luck. You can do it.
I didn't get a chance to see Jay's latest and greatest webinar last night but I will watch it at some point this weekend. Using YouTube is the next area of social/video marketing I am beginning to learn. :)
