Annual Premium Membership Deal
I had been on a monthly subscription because I wasn't sure how this adventure was going to go. Admittedly, I am not where I am at (still don't know why only 23 of 70 posts indexed) and had planned to pull the plug after a year (May) if not successful.
Well, this deal brought me an extra 6 months to give it a go...wish me luck!

That's really the only approach isn't it Anne. I received an email from Google Search Console this morning about an issue that was preventing my pages from indexing. Waded my way through the tutorials and figured out how to address the issue. A little mind-bending for so early in the morning but, hey, another small victory! Slowly but surely eh? Hey Granby! Take a look at Google Search Console. I dealt with an issue just this morning. Many of my pages were not indexed. On GSC I discovered that a video that I had placed in the sidebar of one of my sites did not display in the viewport. This means that, when your page loads, the videos you have as part of your content have to be seen on the visitor's screen. In my case, I had a video too far down on the sidebar so all of my pages weren't getting indexed. In other words, a visitor to my page had to scroll down the page to get to the video. I don't understand why Google thinks this is a problem but, hey, it's their platform so they make the rules. Anyway, long story short, I removed the video. I guess I could have created a block at the top of my sidebar so that the video appeared immediately when the page loaded but I just decided to remove it. This is not the first time i received an email from GSC advising of a problem. Start using it and you'll improve the indexing for your pages. Hope this is helpful. Have a wonderful day!
