So I've been one of those that post my articles on my site and really don't pay too much attention. I don't know guess there's just so much to always do and learn, you have to find time for things.
I had remembered Telling Vicki, she's such a rockstar. How to check in Jaxxy to see where your articles may be ranking. Here's the kicker I myself never do it. So I decided a little bit ago what the heck let me see what's up.
Well to my surprise guess I should check more often. I have 4 of my articles page 1 position one on goggle. 5 on Yahoo ranked 1 position 1 and 2 on bing ranked 1 position 1. WOW.

From what I have seen recommended they say not to check it very often in the beginning. It can cause you to get discouraged. However it looks like you are well past that point and can rock on.

The funny thing is many times your articles are ranking for other keywords you weren't even targeting. So folks shouldn't get discouraged if the keyword you targeted isn't driving you rankings. Other keywords may be. That's why I like check google search console aka google webmaster tools. Because it's like finding gifts of rankings you didn't know you had.
It sure is and you're so right about it may rank for a key word you didn't think was a keyword.
