The Keywords I'm trying for is along the lines of " how to start selling your art to greeting card companies." How to make a business out of it. If this makes sense.

I think they mainly sell them to the different stores. Or they can send resumes to the companies to see if they can get hired as an artist or free lance artist.

that means there is no one else using the keyword which is good in one way but not in the other as people are not using this search term.. hope you understand this

Thanks, Mark every time I put in keywords what keeps popping up is about designing cards on your own for free. This is my first time running into this problem. I think artists who are looking for a place to sell their art is a great idea I just don't know how to word it to get ranked.

Maybe you could wrap it up from a different, broader angle. Maybe tips for making money with art, one of them being the creation of art for greeting card companies.
The artist looking for ways to monetize her or his art is probably not aware of that option. You are the one to present it to him/her. So they may not search for something related to greeting cards, but for ways to make money with their art.
