I Want To Create A Logo
I have been wanting to create a really epic logo for my website for some time now. I've been searching for a really good photoshop editor but most of the ones I found are really lame and don't offer many tools to create a logo with.
Most of them were just basic picture editors that only allowed you to change the color, brightness, and contrast of a picture while also adding some cheesy text to it. LAME!
I want something that is advance and will give me the tools to create any thing I can imagine with my very unique mind and creativity. Does anyone know of a great photoshop or logo creating website I can use to make this awesome logo I have stuck inside my head?
If so, please let me know!

If you want to do it yourself then Inkscape is the best free program I have found for creating logos etc Its obviously not as in depth as the likes of Adobe illustrator but if you're just starting out it will have all the tools you need to create whatever you need.
Ive attached a work in progress logo I am doing for one of my websites that was created in Inkscape.
If you're after more of a razterized / image based logo solely for web use and dont have access to photoshop then Gimp is a good free alternative. Its a bit of a learning curve if you're used to Photoshop but it works ok once you get used to it.
That's a pretty sick logo you have there. Thanks for sharing that with me, I'll check Inkscape out when I get the chance.
My face book page has many logo makers on it that you can use for free

Hiya Gilbert,
Photoshop is a raster graphic (as opposed to vector) so it's not ideal to create a logo.
(1) I find a vector graphic from somewhere like here
http://365psd.com
(2) Then I transfer it to Inkscape (freeware)
https://inkscape.org/en/download/
(3) Add text etc in Inkscape, and export it as .png file
to create my own logo (not good enough to show it to you lol)
Or find a good little graphic from here
https://www.svgimages.com/svg-gallery/1.html
.svg extension is for Inkscape, so if you find a graphic here, you can directly open it in Inkscape.
Loes (ambassador) knows a lot of graphic sites.
This one's good (?)

I can't find any other now.... Loes has introduced a lot of similar sites in her blogs/trainings.
Good luck!

Wow that's a lot right there. Thanks for informing me about the difference between Photoshop and Vector. I always thought that photoshop was used to make logos. I'll be sure to look into what you shared with me, thanks.
Yes you could make a logo with photoshop but I find the text goes fuzzy (or not?)....Inkscape is not perfect either...it's free and the interface is dated. It doesn't convert it to crystal clear png file... But give it a try!
As Greg says, have a look at Fiverr. Most designers on there will give you around 3 versions with revisions included for around $15 :)
I'm really liking what I'm reading right now. Thank you! I'll be sure to Fiverr out soon.
You can probably use a graphic artist on Fiverr. I have seen a cost as low as $5. Give your idea and they will create it.
Wow that actually sounds really freaking awesome. If I can get a really good artist to make my idea come to life then I might try that. Thanks for that info, SeaHawk.

I use https://pixlr.com very close to Photoshop but its free and I do a lot of textures for a couple 3 d websites I am involved with.
My brother actually uses Pixlr on his laptop and seems really good but I tried looking for it on my laptop, I found a very boring and basic photo editor. I guess I'll just check their websit instead, thanks.
