Quick question before I run out the door
I should probably already know the answer, but when I get a comment in Site Comments that has a question in it, when I approve and reply does the questioner get to see my reply? Just wondering because I've not seen a follow up conversation at all with site comments.

No they do not... they will not be aware of your reply unless they are interested themselves to go back.. they are not alerted.
Maybe consider using a plugin for this... I use the Comment Approved Notifier Extended Plugin...
When I approve the comment.. the person that left it is alerted by email .. and if they choose to they will return to you...
I use it... and get some bites back and some dialogue going sometimes

Good question, I've wondered this myself, but sorry I don't know the answer. I'm sure someone out there does!
I have used it in the past and got a follow up then. However, recently I noticed that no one was responding, so I am wondering as well. I even blogged about it. Drives me nuts sometimes - Site Feedback Will try to contact Kyle or Carson about it.

I checked out your post. There seems to be an ongoing issue there. I see I’m not the first to notice. Not sure I’d call it a problem, really. More like a missed opportunity.

I use the email address they leave and copy the reply to their comment. I use my website email for the return address.
