Trust! - Overrated?
Hell No!
Hell no! Taken for granted? Absolutely! Trust is one of those things that walks with it’s feet on both sides of the fence. Floating back and forth between our conscious and sub-conscious mind. For example, you're driving in your car, approaching a stop sign, applying the brakes and trusting the vehicle is going to stop. Not something you are consciously thinking about but there is a level of trust your vehicle will indeed stop.
How about flying? A little more into our consciousness, but the level of trust we place with the pilot is palpable! I know the whole fear of flying thing, I get it! So there are times of trust that come with a measure of worry, but only until our desired result is achieved, then it slips back to becoming the unthinkable again.
DaveO7 was talking about building trust in an earlier post today. Referencing the important steps involved in delivering value to your customers in order to build trust. How about the amount of trust we have all placed in Kyle and Carson and the WA platform? Yeah right! If you are premium your trust has visual value to it!
So you can easily see that trust has a defined measure of what and where we place it in our life. Mostly it is earned but there are times when we feel it is a guarantee, such as the brakes on a car. In the course of a day, you could do an exercise on the amount of times trust was involved in your every activity! Wow, wouldn’t that be something.
Once trust is lost, time becomes its best friend, as it is only time that will allow you to get back to the level you had prior to it being snatched away from you. Sadly, it can vanish forever!
There is another kind of trust out here, the type that is “gifted” to us! We don’t ask for it, it just shows up one day. Surprising in a way that defies explanation. Who doesn’t appreciate a surprise? Who doesn’t appreciate this type of trust? Humbling isn’t it? You see it so often here, in the way people reach out, share their accomplishments, so many feel good moments, all in the name of “community”! A very trusting community.
I have been the recipient of this gifted trust here, I wear it on my heart now! It is a “badge” that I never want to lose, which means I am going to be working very hard to make sure it never goes away! It is a trinket I will always have with me. I smile because of it and it has found a permanent home in my conscious mind. You see, for me, it is a gift that I can never take for granted. I won’t take for granted...ever!
Thanks peeps!

Thank you for this kind and thoughtful post. Trust is certainly a part of many of our decisions and it feels great to have that unconditional trust from those who value us!
Trust is an important element in business and takes time to build. However, there are ways to develop the trust in a shorter time. Here, in WA, Kyle and Carson has developed the Starter Memberships for anyone new to try the platform or evaluate it. You are using before you purchase. That is what is call a proxy for trust. Another proxy for trust in WA is the community, you are free to engage and ask questions to your satisfaction. In many products, you see testimonials as a trust proxy. Not bad but scammers fake it. Therefore, in WA this is one step up from testimonials.
We can support each other by being that trust proxy for our businesses. We can be testimonials for each other and so on...
