I am still here!
Hi all!
Just wanted to let you know that I am still here! :)
Many of you know that I got a job offer thanks to my Facebook pages and I've been working since almost 4 months now in an office of an electrician company.
I never wanted to go back in a 9 to 5 job, but I got the offer without asking for the job, so I took the chance... But I don't love the fact that I don't have much time for my websites and for the training left. I finished the certification course and the bootcamp a long time ago, but there are so many webinars I want to watch...
I am very excited: my boss wants me to update the company's website, now because he knows that I am learning how to build websites here at WA... how cool is that? :D This is really a success for me and I am very happy about it... ;)
So, I will try my best to go on with the training, even with my limited spare time. But here are so many members in the same situation, so... we are all in the same boat and we will handle it! ;)

Hi Gerlinde, thanks for your post. As you mention..there are so many of us in the very same situation. We may often struggle with our internal dialogue..you know the one that says..how can you follow your dreams if you are doing this 9-5 job...we almost resent it. But of course, that is the reality we live in...we need to pay our rent, mortgages and bills. I would say to you..well done on your determination to keep your training alive..and I whole heartily support you, write out a training plan which moves you forward, no matter how small those steps may be. Congrats and good luck.

Thanks for your words... yes, we have to pay our bills and having a monthly income lets me sleep better at night ;) but I love the community and I am learning so much every day, even from the background.. so... I am thankful and keep going..

Good luck to you! I also have had for financial reasons go back to work the hard way! I am struggling to keep up online as that is where my heart is!
Yes, I know what you mean! My heart is definitely in the online business.... but life can be very challenging....

Congrats Gerlinde :) It is awesome to know that the skills we learn here we can use outside of building our own online business.
I have also received a number of job offers from companies, plus people wanting me to do some odd jobs for them.
