I was really impressed with" Angie's List".... How she was able to have dozens of services listed on her site.
So, I sorta copied her format. I have my WEBSITE with 9 d
HI Gene,
I think that for the most part you might want to focus on a single niche. Sites like Angie's list have been around longer and have had time to build authority and credibility...
As others have said, there is also a common thread site that over time, allows more subjects to be added...I think that is the direction you would like to pursue from the tone of your post?
But you do have a route to expand your niche somewhat even if you focus for the most part on one subject. I have heard it called shoulder niches...This can, over time, give you a similar site...
These shoulder niches are related niches that you can tie into your main niche using clever wirting and links to your other posts/subject. This way you can take advantage of a broader set of keywords, and Google can see as they index your page the relationship...
This can bring you a bigger audience that later you can tap into for adding to your leads and conversions. As others have said, you can use this platform to sell many different affiliate products, ones related to the subject...
All of this is a bit of planning, questioning as you are doing, and common sense. I would not try to sell a diet eBook on my money site focused on online marketers, the audience has no interest in this (some may have but most will not)...
Best of luck as you go along...This is the great thing about online marketing...There is no one way to have success, it is for each to find their way...More important is to keep it interesting so you will look forward to staying engaged and working to imprive/have success!
Cheers!

Hey David, you're incredible. Thanks so very much for your input. Yeah since this is my very first endeavor, I thought I would give it a shot and see where it takes me. I'm using my Facebook and Youtube accounts to help me sell the products and the website hopefully as a squeeze page hopefully to start an email list. I do plan on starting a separate set of websites dedicated to just one niche and compare. I'll keep you posted if I may David, Thanks again,
The number of affiliate programs you're using doesn't define the niche -- the products available through them and the audience that need those products do. How closely related are the nine affilates' products? Do the same kinds of people need all (or most) of them?
In the case of Angie's List, the services being offered are all, as far as I know, related to services needed by homeowners. The niche is the users, not the various businesses whose services they need.
Hey Bob, Thank you so very much for your input. Yeah I think I have all the products pretty closely related to a families needs. you can check it out for me if you have the time and let me know. It's only been completed a few days ago so I'm anxious to see. fitnesshealthandyou.com Thanks again Bob,
well you are right of course Bob, but my intent is to send them from my Facebook or Youtube. That is where the first contact will be made with people looking for that one particular item. So if a senior woman or man are living alone, and go to my site because they were drawn by my Facebook or Youtube ads on Alert1,, they will not only find the item they were looking for, but perhaps they also Bowl. ?
Exactly, Gene -- I believe Kyle says it best in the lesson on niches: the niche is the target audience, not the products. It's really easy to think of the products first rather than the audience as being the niche.
Hi Gene. I guess my perception of WA is that we build a website with one niche in mind. You can have multiple affiliates that you use on your site, but it should just focus on your single niche.
I think that when you build a site with many niches, you are creating a giant site that will find it extremely hard to compete with the large stores that are online. It is basically impossible and you will most likely be disappointed in the results. Just my opinion. :)
Hi Michelle, thank you so very much for your input. Yeah I think like that too sometimes, but my website has only been completed this week. I'll keep you posted LOL ? Gene
I'm so sorry for my negligence. Here is my website if you have a chance to check it out ..fitnesshealthandyou.com. Thanks again Michelle,
I just took a look at your site, Gene. I honestly don't think it will lead you in a good direction. You have almost 10 niches, if I counted right. :) Not only that, but your pages are only sales pages. You are not offering quality content to your visitors. I'm only saying this because you don't want to end up down the road wishing you had done things differently.
I would really consider taking one niche at a time and creating a great website around that. You can always start a second website for your next niche when you are ready. Keep us posted! :)
Hey Michelle,
You're wonderful. Thanks so much for your sensitivity and thoughtfulness. I know you are right Michelle, but this is all so very new to me so I thought I would use my Facebook and Youtube ads to do all the selling and building the value and using my website only as a squeeze page.. And yes I do plan on making separate websites for about 5 new niches and see how it goes .
Nice having you on my side. LOL.. I'll keep you posted for sure.

Some affiliates are jerks and corporate A-holes and I had couple of them. They act more like bosses or dictators or deny your application. One even bragged about how many people beg to work with them. Not This Guy! Someone should blog about bad affiliates...Hmmmmmm
