Overcoming the Largest Obstacle We Have to Become a Successful Entrepreneur Online

Polls show people tend to quit their bosses not their jobs. We've all seen people who leave a job and the next time you see them they are doing the same job only for a different employer. Because we are the same this is nothing more than a geographical relocation and in a few months we are surrounded by the same dilema. The old saying rings true: No matter where you go --- There you are! See what I mean?

From analyzing the polls we see that more than 80% of management do not have the skills to effectively manage others, they were promoted for good job performance. This amounts to a set-up for failure in the long term. As the boss you are responsible for setting the tone and creating a positive and productive work environment.

What does this say to us as independent online business owners? Since many of us work from home the circumstances and situations are drastically different from working outside the home, but really are they? The same principles apply regardless of the environment. If we have not learned to manage oursleves how can we be expected to manage our own home based business? As you probably have discovered network marketing is essential to building a successful online business to earn incomes at home.

We have taken responsibility into our own hands. We admit we all have blind spots however; many of us have a checkered past and haven't properly dealt with negative experiences and/or failures and have been left scarred.

The good news is that there are ways to mend the brokeness and avoid the pitfalls. Let's examine a few.

--Take a Good Long Look in the Mirror

Think about how your life journey has shaped the way you manage your time and make decisions. Are you always doing your best? Are you approaching your business deliberately working toward predetermined goals? We all have 24 hours everyday and the way we manage our time can mean being successful at making money at home or not.

-Identify Three Mistakes
As you reflect identify just three major mistakes or bad networking decisions you've made since starting your journey in building incomes at home. Do they seem to be reoccurring? What's part do you play in perpetuating their re-occurrence? While doing this make a commitment to ensure this will not happen again.

-Get Sound Feedback
This is one of the greatest things about Wealthy Affiliates. Besides all the wonderful training; we have an incomparable community to help us overcome any challenge we may encounter. Ask for and welcome constructive criticism then commit to at least one corrective action based on the feedback you receive.

--Do the Lessons

Becoming a successful online marketer is all about influencing others to take action. If we aren't working towards our goals can we expect our referrals to do anything but the same. Be a good listener then respond in a timely manner. They need to know you are here for them.

-Resources and Advice
Point your referrals to the resources they need and offer advice. You are not doing the work for them, but guiding them to building a better business model.

-Life is a Learning Experience
Look at every interaction with others as an opportunity to teach. Use examples from your journey to offer opportunities to grow. Remember we are all Destined by Decissions we make.

--Be An Encourager

Recognize any and all accomplishments made by those you are mentoring. Reinforce the good they do and remember money is not everything. People, especially newcomers, just want their hard work ackowledged. So let's consider the following:

-Reward Positive Action
Be sure to take the time answer the questions that arise and respond to your notifications daily. Just be sure to notice them in a way to make the feel good about what they are doing.

-Motivate the Individual
People are not the same and we must be fair with everyone. Which doesn't mean we treat everyone equally. People have different needs and work at differnt speeds so we must taylor our motivation to meet the individuals needs. When we take the time to learn what motivates our referral and see them as an individuals we can use that knowledge to hopefully teach them to become even more successful than ourselves.
