Are you happy with your theme?
Hello Fellow Affiliates
After a few month's absents, I have returned to WA to continue to build my online business, even going as far as a 2nd website, but I feel that the theme I am using for my main website is not doing it,
I am using Boston, free version, it is better than Codium Grid which I used before. Codium Grid seemed too busy and cluttered.
My needs in a theme are as follows
- I like lots of white space and nice dark black text as it make the content easy to read
- I make use of visuals, like photos, diagrams and screenshots,
- It must be able to embed videos
- I also do loads of reviews,
- Must be SEO compatable/friendly
- Able to display my logo
- Be plugin friendly
The list goes on, I have changed my theme approx.6 times since joining WA in April of 2017, I know I am not the only person with this problem of themes, so it is just a matter of finding that theme that jumps out and says I am what you are looking for, so wish me luck, give me advise, point me in the right direction as this wonderful WA Community always does.
I wish those of you in the same dilema best of luck in your search for the right theme in WordPress.
So wish me luck, a searching I will go.

I can totally relate Gary. I have invested so much time in creating a logo, but my theme wont let me display my logo perfectly!
This is what I mean, the theme I am using is good for somethings, and others not, so finding the happy medium is the goal.
Thanks for sharing Ciza

I'm using free 2017 (in words) theme. It is free also. It has the black and white, but am not sure if you can or can't add all you want to add, but I'm pretty sure you can hide the picture shown in the header. (I changed the picture.) I even tried the intentionally blank theme, but it was too overwhelming for this newbie, but it might work well for you My problem is that I am looking for a theme with more than 2 menus. Widgets might work, but I want to be able to choose the pages & posts by using menus. My site is about cooking/food. I would like several menus. Does anyone know of a theme that I can use several menus to make it easier to get around? I have tried several themes for the last few months and they just seem to come out more complicated to get around than it COULD be. Any help/ideas from WA community would be greatly appreciated, please. Thank you and best wishes!!
Hello Susan,
It seems we are in the same boat, but I am confident we will find our perfect theme in our search within WordPress, here are a few themes I think you should look at relative to your niche, cooking.
Bossom Feminine
Hoot Ubix
Kale
Chook o Lite
Check it out Susan, one may be it, wishing you continued success.

I am using Hiero themes and so far it is good. Not only on the appearance but the codes I put in the Head are intact which others themes cannot protect because of constant deletion for whatever unknown reason.

I've changed my theme several times too. My favorite was using Elementor with the OceanWP theme, but unfortunately the layout didn't allow me to do what I wanted. So, I changed my theme again. I'm on the verge of changing it yet again. LOL!
Good luck choosing, Gary.
