Embrace these 3 C,s
Hi Everyone, I received such a great response to my last post "Beware of the 3 C's" that I have decided to write a counter balance post to it. These are by no means the only C words that are worthy to be embraced, as were the ones to beware of. So without further ado. "The 3 C's that I believe we should embrace."
1. Commitment.
Without a commitment virtually anything that you do is destined for failure! As the saying goes, when the going gets Tough, the Tough get going! In other words, if you have not made a commitment to yourself ahead of starting a project or, an activity by writing down all of your plans, researching it and, discussing it with close friends or family. You are only fantasizing! As soon as resistance great or, small comes your way, the urge to abandon that project will be stronger than your desire to follow through on it. That is why it is so important to stay plugged in to the training and the community at WA. It is our lifeline to remember our commitment that we made to ourselves, and to be encouraged by each other along the way, and during the journey.
2. Contentment.
Not an easy stretch for most of us! This requires developing and, continued developing of our inner strengths, you know the things such as patience, humility, perseverance, kindness, empathy, and endurance. But let's not forget having just plain old grit to help us hang in there til the end. Learning to be content when things are not going our way, helps us to develop our character to be appropriate for the days ahead, when almost everything will seem to be going our way to other people that are observing us.
3. Compassion.
This is the adhesive that holds everything in place. The combination of love and of passion. The love for what you are doing, and the passion, energy and drive to never stop going, and never quit! We may not be born with it, but any one of us can learn it, if we commit ourselves truly to becoming the best that we can be, and never stop trying to develop ourselves to improving. We are all examples to someone, lets be aware that each one of us are being watched by so many others that are looking for inspiring people to follow. Let's remember that and, let's be worthy to follow. If you cannot find the example that you are looking for. Why don't you become that very person???
