My 3 Month Update - What's Going On?
My fellow community members,
It has been a while since I've checked in so this is what is up with me right now.
Months ago I signed up for a yearly subscription since the moment was right and I had the funds in place. In my thought process, the yearly subscription would serve 2 things:
1. Allow me the ability to work at my own pace without worrying about monthly payments.
2. Uping my level of commitment to ensure I put my money where my mouth is and find out if this is the space I want to work in.
While I have no regrets of my initial yearly subscription payment, I find myself on a slightly different path than when I started.
Where to Begin...
I started running into issues when the COVID-19 outbreak began.
Initially, I started two websites. The first being something I just went with to get going (I got to about two blog posts - this was about coffee) and the second one I felt was closer aligned to my purpose (basically a young adult advice column).
Of course, I started devoting more time to the second site naturally and felt on my way...but, life started creeping back in and some things happened in my personal life that became a distraction and caused a lot of anxiousness about what I wanted moving forward in different areas of my life.
Not to mention, I also began feeling like my vision for the blog may be a little out of touch with what today's young people deal with since I grew up just before smart phones became a commodity. I could be selling myself short but my google analytic numbers and feelings disagree.
Where am I heading?
Recently, I began thinking of how to adjust my page. I've really enjoyed discussing health and wellness and thought about turning the page from a young adult focused page to more of a review on healthy food reviews and fitness. If there is one thing I know, it is food and I do like holistic things like doing yoga, grounding myself, and being at peace with the world LOL.
I think one of the biggest hurdles I've dealt with in all this is trying to figure out the side interest vs the true long term thing I can get behind to see through to success.
However, this is life.
I'm still figuring myself out (I'm 27 going on 28 this year). My circumstances are just as unique to me as other people's are to themselves. It is entirely possible affiliate marketing is not for me but at the least I can continue to learn more about myself and from this community as I have done so far...afterall, I have plenty of time :8^)
Thanks For Reading!
Sending all of my WA friends good vibes for the upcoming week.
