I am a teacher of performing arts and film studies and am interested in all things to do with acting, singing, dancing, film, music, theatre and well, to be honest, just enjoying life to the full. I have a great interest also in spirituality and helping other people to be the best they can be so I'm really excited about the opportunities here.
Looking forward to interacting with lots of WA members and hoping to have positive and uplifting conversations to help us all to find our own bliss and fulfil our dreams. Here's to happiness!
Here are my current websites if you are interested in having a look.
Any feedback gratefully received.

You do film studies! I wrote two movie scripts last year with the help of my grandkids. I am looking for a movie maker to make them into movies. We were talking about Shark-nado and what if it was not sharks. We came up with Tomato-nado!
Can you help me find a movie maker?

Hi there and thanks for reading and following me.
I love Sharknado and hate it at the same time - but guess that's why it's such a cult!
To answer your question, there are many ways to get a film made depending upon the time and money you have! And there is no right way to get a film made as nowadays there are many roots into the business and each one is as valid as the last.
In the UK (where I am from) there are usually producers looking for scripts and vice versa so it would be good to check around your local film clubs or film societies first to see if you can get someone interested, You are more likely to get interest here than from a major film production company if you are an unknown writer however that is not unknown but you would definately need a properly formatted script rather than just an idea.
Other ways to get noticed would be to enter the script into film competitions or to visit film festivals as see who is looking for a script and to network.
The BAFTA website http://guru.bafta.org/ has a lot of good information on how to get films made especially short films so it might be worth looking at that site first, or the equivalent national film or arts promotion group where you live. You'll see that everyone really has a different approach and way in so it would be a case or persevering to find the right one for you.
You can also search for film script agents and pitch your script to them directly or even approach film schools and universities (although they will tend to encourage their students to write their own scripts).
TV and internet film companies may also be looking but again you'd need the script first and you'd have to send it off speculatively.
Have you heard of "Attack of the killer tomatoes" which is a 1978 B movie with a similar idea.
I hope this helps a bit - may have to write it up as a proper blog and put it on my site! :) Have a good day and if I hear of anyone

I hope things are going well. I know you are getting rolling within the training and there is ONE thing that always tends to confuse people and that is "what is my niche?".
I know, same thing happened to me when I started.
I just wanted to reach out and let you know that I am here if you ever want to run any niche "ideas" by me or you have any questions about finding your niche.
Get back to me when you get the chance! :)
