Morning all
It's 1.20 am here in the UK, and I am doing my usual late night/early morning work! LOL. I know I'm not the only one who does that here at WA.
Still, I just wanted to give you a brief update on my Etsy shop, which I have set up in the last 2 weeks. If you didn't read my last post, you can read it here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/gail-uk/blog/how-ive-been-using-ai-and-image-studio-to-help-launch-my-etsy-shop
My shop sells digital products, which are poems that I used to sell about 10 years ago as physical products on eBay, and I am relaunching them on Etsy at the moment.
I started my shop just over 2 weeks ago, and although I have no sales at the moment, I am encouraged to see that I have now had over 101 views and 41 visits to the shop.

In the time since I launched the shop, I have been adding new poems to the site and I now have 14 uploaded and live and another 10 which are sitting in the wings (mostly seasonal Christmas poems) that I intend to upload soon.
The "Zero Sales" Challenge
Now it is absolutely true to say that despite some views and some visits, I have had ABSOLUTELY NO SALES so far, but I'm taking a very positive angle here and choosing to look for all the good things that I have achieved so far, rather than bemoaning the fact that after 2 weeks, I have 0 sales.
I know that this is a numbers game: The more poems I have listed, the more views I will get and the more people are likely to click through and eventually buy. So it's VERY EARLY DAYS and I'm encouraged that some people - from around the world - have found my work. I have not done any advertising or run a program on social media either yet; that may come. Currently, I'm working on getting as many poems listed as I can.
AI Help Is Invaluable
I write all the poems myself and this is something I want to continue to do, but I am using AI to create images and illustrations for the poems. I even created a sort of comic-book effect using Kre8or with one poem last night, which I like too. It's shown here:
I particularly like the comic-book approach and hope it will appeal to the specific audience it is aimed at. I love that I can use AI to create new and interesting backgrounds for my already-written work.
So it's 'onward and upward' for me. I plan to eventually sell the poems in frames with personalisation, but for now, I'd say it's not a bad couple of weeks' work!
I'll keep you updated on how things work out.
Have a lovely Tuesday.
Gail
