Looks like after almost 2 weeks I made my first sale!
I have been at this for about 12 days, and have made my first sale.
It wasn't much, but after 71 clicks, according to Amazon, someone finally placed an order and it wasn't even for a product I was advertising for.. lol. Would that be a low conversion rate? Either way, someone bought TurboTax Home & Business 2014 Fed + State + Fed Efile Tax Software + Refund Bonus Offer - Win haha.
Though, it counts for something I guess. $2.60 is better than nothing. I can not claim payment though until I enter tax information. Actually waiting for tax money to re-enlist my LLC. Should I wait or file for a sole proprietorship or S-Corp?

Congrats DAWG! I have been at it for over 2 months and received 68 affiliate clicks but no sales yet according to amazon, but I believe it just hasn't updated yet!

Thanks for the motivation, I also noticed after a little SEO with including more of the keywords in paragraph titles my google webmasters readings have gone up and I've had more impressions but no clicks quite yet within google search engine. I have had over 60 clicks from bingads on bing and yahoo and 63 affiliate clicks overall and would like some advice because I have to make an amazon sale within 180 days of signing up or they'll cut me off I believe.
I'm new at this so I might not be the best to go for advice, but from what I have learned it is best to gear your content towards your audience in a relevant way and to catch the customer later in the buying process. Like with your niche for example you can focus on the most popular mods and write reviews on them based off of price and performance. Comparing various air filter etc. and convincing the customer on which is best. I hope this helped
Thanks, I have added more personal product reviews and links within most pages to "shop for (blank) today" so I believe according to a facebook friend who's been giving me feedback he said that most people do a lot more browsing before they buy. So, I'm hoping for return visitors to make a purchase!
