Help! They can't find my business!

Luigi and Giuseppe decided to open a pizza shop. Their friends told them they make the best pizza they have ever tasted. So, they put together a great menu, bought the best ingredients they could find, decorated the pizza shop perfectly and hired some awesome employees. They feel like there is no way they can fail. Luigi and Giuseppe are excited and can't wait to open the shop and start to make money. The grand opening comes and the only people to show up were some family and a couple of friends. No problem, tomorrow will be better. Tomorrow comes and still no customers. Doesn't everyone know that they make the best pizza? Well, the problem isn't the pizza...it is some of the best you can get. Is it due to poor service? No, remember they hired some really good employees. So, what is the problem? They have all of the ingredients for a successful business except for one. They chose to put their pizza shop in an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town down a dirt road with no street lights, no neighbors and no traffic going past their business. How do they expect to be successful without traffic?

Well, this is the same thing with a website. You can make it look great and sell a great product. But, if you can't get any traffic to your site, you won't be as successful as you want. Luigi and Giuseppe should have consulted with successful business people and found out how they did it. They would have learned that location is important in creating traffic for their business. They would have found out that marketing their pizza shop through ads and maybe coupon offers would bring customers to the shop. High visibility, improved marketing, and traffic creation along with their good product would go a long way to insuring their success.

Your website is just like the pizza shop on that desolate road. No one sees you. You have no traffic visiting you site. And, unless you incorporate a systematic process to increase traffic to your website, you will not make the money you hoped for. This is what Wealthy Affiliate does for us.
