Google Chrome's Enhanced Ad Privacy
Hi, WA Friends!
Just a quick heads up, in case you haven't seen it. Google Chrome has implemented a new ad privacy workflow.

As you can see, the new enhanced privacy features allow Google to have more control over the ads they show you in Chrome by classifying them into categories such as general content, sports, music, video, etc.
This also gives you more control over the ads you want to see by adjusting your Chrome settings.
However, Google may have plans to make these ads more difficult to remove with an ad blocker based on an "AI-mutating ad reclassification algorithm" (Info source: a friend who has a friend who works for Google).
Here's more of What Google has to say:

Just thought you should know. Tell me what you think in the comments! π
I'll be back with more guitar-related posts before you can say "Music Rocks!" π€π₯π€

Hi Frank! Thanks for the update. Somehow I tend to agree that eventually even ad blockers will be useless. Appreciate the share.
Susan
You're welcome, Susan.
Yes, AI is changing everything. There's a lot going on behind the scenes that's very transparent to people's daily activities, some good and others not.
Rock On! π€

Thanks, Frank! Google Chrome sure made it difficult to pay my bills the last so around though, so I am not thrilled!
Happy Tuesday!

Sorry to hear that, Jeff. You may need to reconfigure things in settings.

I hate it every time that things are going smoothly, and then they arbitrarily change things, Frank! Having to justify those jobs perhaps?

Haha, I hear you, Jeff! π
Making everything work right with everything else can be a real hassle.

Tinnitus can be tough to deal with, Brenda.
Luckily, I wore ear protection over the years, which helped preserve my hearing and avoid tinnitus and hyperacusis.
That can be really challenging, Brenda, but you are definitely making the best of it, which is awesome! ππ
