To Transfer A Domain Name From Godaddy

Transfering a domain name from Godaddy to Wealthy Affiliate is not hard to do. It is only scary if you don't have a firm sound to your voice. Sensing weakness and they will pin you there, because Godaddy doesn't like to lose customers!

I have been their customer for about seventeen years altogether. I think they have excellent phone support for your website, but it will surely cost you!

First of all, there is no FEE! When they tell you "There is a fee!" You, very politely say NO, sir.
And they said to me "You are right ma'am." And mumbled something about an email and hung up!

Now I didn't have Privacy turned OFF, and that has to sit for hours, I think ,24., and I didn't hear him say what email he was going to send me information to. So I had to call back, and give that young man a dis-satisfaction survey report, both, because Godaddy wants a Satisfaction Survey after every call!

When I called back, the second man did not ask for a FEE, and when I told him about the FEE, he said, "Yes, ma'am, I know." Then he proceded to tell me which email he was sending the email to, and it was a good thing, because, it was one I seldom used now, and I would not have checked it without warning.

We have to have a Transition Code to put in our box on the Domain Transfer Page. It is under your list of Domain Names.The Transition Code is in the email that Godaddy has to send you.

Sending the email takes a few hours sometimes. Make sure you are checking the correct email.
