Suggestions for a decent WP repair company

Some may have seen my chat messages a couple of nights ago, unfortunately there wasn't anyone online that could help at the time - it was pretty late.

Anyway, one of main WP sites is having 'memory' problems. It is a fairly large site with 500+ posts, several hundred photographs etc. I estimate to having spent at least 1000 hours on this site, probably a lot more, so Im pretty worried about losing it.

I'm fairly good with WordPress, I've done everything I can think of to resolve the issues I'm having, upped the memory limit etc. I've got it back to a point where I can now add posts, and sometimes images, although each time I'm still getting these fatal errors and internal server errors, but the posts do go live. I can't install any new plugins. I think/hope it is backing itself up properly.

Luckily the site is still functioning for my visitors.

Having spent so long getting nowhere, Im resolved to getting someone in to sort it out properly, therefore can anyone recommend a decent, fairly priced Wordpress specialist / company that can go in and fix it?

Thanks, Paul

A huge second on apina. He is a WA member who is so very helpful. Just type apina in the search box above. He also has YT videos. ^_~

Thanks for your help, I finally managed to sort it somehow.. Best regards, Paul

Thanks Shawn, ill check them out. Just wasted another night!

Sorry, would love to be of help, but total newbie. I am sure some techie WA member will soon help you recover your WP memories.

Hi, I can't help with the issue at hand unfortunately Paul but I was wondering how you increase the memory limit? Chances are I will have the same problem sometime soon, not nearly so many posts (yet) but will have around 800 photos at least.

Lol wow thats alot of posts! I never even thought that I might ever be done adding to a site but youre pushing it lol. anyways wordpress doesnt control the memory to my knowledge, rather the hosting you have. Your website is a platform built on hosting afterall.

Ha yes it is quite large, it is a site recording the stories of ww1 soldiers through my research and stories passed down through family members... So 500 stories really is just the tip of the iceberg as to where it will be in a few years time.

I had thought about contacting my hosting company, but from what I've read online it seems to be to do with conflictions in my wordpress set up.. So I don't think they can help me unfortunately.

Thanks for your comments,
Paul
