Yep, I was ghosted. No warnings. No dramatic exits. Just poof... like a magician’s trick, they vanished into thin YouTube air.
At first, I thought maybe they were busy.
Then I thought maybe they were traveling.
Then I wondered if I accidentally offended them by using Comic Sans (kidding, I would never).
But nope...turns out, this is more common than we talk about.

Last seen blogging about Bali. Now? No blog, no social, no trace.
And here we are... still here.
Still posting. Still crafting blog titles like our lives depend on it.
😅 But Seriously...
It can feel disheartening. You come in hoping for mentorship, community, maybe even a virtual high five or two. And instead, you're left wondering if your messages went to a spam folder in another dimension.
But here’s the twist: it’s okay. Actually, it’s kind of empowering.
Because somewhere along the way, you stop waiting for others to validate your journey. You build your site, write your posts, share your passions... and you realize:

Well , it can be really disheartening, when you are very new to the affiliate marketing space, and your referrer becomes a ghost after the first automated welcome mails.
I promised myself from that moment on, all those I refer will always get my help till the day they don't need my validation anymore.

Morning my friend, this post hit different. Had me laughing and relating at the same time. The way you broke down the ghost types, man I’ve met every one of them.
In May I had 12 sign-ups come through. I was hyped, thought I finally cracked something. But every single one ghosted. Not a word. Just gone. It’s like they say, you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. And in this case the horse didn’t just walk away, it vanished through a portal mid-step.
At first I was thinking maybe I said the wrong thing or maybe life just got busy for them. But the more I’m in this game the more I realize exactly what you said. You stop waiting for someone else to validate your journey. You just keep showing up, building, posting, and pushing through.
Appreciate this one big time. It’s good to know we’re not the only ones still standing after the smoke clears.

Ah, the eternal WA soliloquy...
To ghost, or not to ghost ... that is the question.
Whether 'tis nobler to suffer the slings of silent referrals,
Or to take arms against a sea of freeloaders,
And by disengaging… end them? 😏
Jokes aside ... this is worth pausing on.
Both referrers and referrals can go ghost !
One takes the commission and vanishes,
The other takes the training and… never trains.
It’s not just frustrating ... it’s unsustainable.
Maybe it’s time we rethink the system:
Reward referrers who guide, not ghost.
Support referrals who engage, not just enroll.
And gracefully release what no longer moves :
ghosted accounts, ghosted leaders, ghosted potential.
Energy flows where presence goes.
Until then, I’ll just be over here with my AI-oar™

Nicely put Fleeky, as you know I have been ghosted, at first I thought am I too much asking the most annoying questions!
Or maybe he's too busy to respond. I sometimes feel, on subscription he's still earning from me, commission, so at least now and again maybe pop up and ask how am I doing!
But having said that, it's understandable the referral led the way, it's time to let go, like a baby eagle finding it's wings and learns to fly away!
Sometimes I have felt like I was on a desert Island, lost and clueless not knowing what to do, but gave into my instincts and learnt the ropes, and moved on!
