It was hard narrowing down the first question cause I wanted to answer abcd. lol
Although I’m super patient, after 9 months with my first site, I’m a little worried about how to get more traffic.
I do feel slightly obsessed with it, using most of my spare time to work on the business. There’s just so many out there telling you what needs to be done in order to succeed. Meanwhile, the purists say “just concentrate on writing content.” Some days I’m in the zone flying high and other days my head is spinning and ready to crash n burn.
😂 So true...
Make sure to diversify through social media and other search engines like bing and yandex...
And... to add a mailing list with regular updates and recommendations
Good luck!

Morning Brad! Good to read ya! 😍
Do you mean you outsource your web building, or just lack of interest and skils for website building?
I am referring to the seemingly constant up-keep and maintenance of a website. Keeping up with upgrades and plugins competing with each other, and now Google rules and algorithm changes. IT NEVER ENDS.
When I was younger, I would by cars that were cheep and I was always working on the car to fix one thing or another. I would almost spend more time working on the car than I did DRIVING the car.
A car is for transportation. Put gas in the car and go. Oil change once in a while. New tires once in a while. Change a lightbulb now and then. For the most part my 2008 Toyota Camry Hybrid is very dependable, and I put gas in on a regular basis. That's it.
For Affiliate Marketing, a website should be a place to store affiliate links. Just drive targeted qualified traffic, and people buy. (I wish). But instead, Google changes their rules, hosting services get temporarily blocked or go down.
😅😆
Yes, yes, yes... that IS daunting indeed. Yuk, yuk yuk 🙀 Maintenance IS a burden! And the more sites you have the more it becomes a hooror script!
Know there are plugins that do the updates for you
Ps
Forget Google... concentrate on social media, share your blog links there and make sure to add yandex and bing as search engines in your seo
Also consider a mailing list where you inform your audience about next
Yes, I know that plugins update themselves.
Which is part of the problem.
They work fine "together" then an "update" breaks the once working relationship.
Forget Google (and Bing) and use dependable physical Direct Mail Postcards (with a QR Code that goes to my Landing Page) delivered by the USPS, which is more likely to be delivered, lasts a LOT longer than a click on the internet and has a consistent price of .56 cents each.
