Which Choice Should You Make?

Here's our quote: "Without freedom of choice, there is no creativity. Without creativity, there is no life." — Benjamin Spock

Have you ever thought about our freedom to make any choice we choose? Of course, there are limits, depending on our circumstances. However, when it comes to choosing our direction, we are on our own.

What will I do? Where will I go? What will I build? Which dream do I choose? Such questions beg for answers, and how we answer them can influence our lives in a big way. We are fortunate to be able to raise such questions, and to find answers.

By our choices, we can help others and/or help ourselves. We can choose to create a path that will take us into the unknown we wish to explore. We can build our businesses to create a greater, richer life.

If you are unsure of what choice you wish, study your options. Educate yourself as to the possibilities. This new knowledge will make your choice much easier and suitable to the situation.

If your choice scares you, but looks like the right one, go for it! If it doesn't work, you can always try a new way. That's part of the beauty of freedom of choice: It gives you opportunity to correct any errors you might make.

Try to make the choice that creates the greater good for yourself and others. If you choose to lend a hand to one who struggles, that choice brings you the most benefits. It becomes a win-win situation.

It's up to you -- the choice is yours. Here's a thought-provoking quote from Seth Adam Smith which is illuminating: "Only you can decide what you become." What will you choose?

From time to time, I get caught up in focusing on a couple of choices rather than the need the choices address. I rarely regret a choice but i do often take too much time deciding between choices. You are right. Being able to make choices is a great thing.
Jim

That is very true. Then, there are times when I don't take enough time, and rush into something that I'm not really ready to tackle. It's all a live-and-learn process.

Having the freedom of choice is indeed a great thing Fran...

But... how do we choose what is best to do??

Follow our hearts or our gut instincts??

Who knows!! We are all individuals after all and must make whatever choices we believe are best for us at any given time!!

If the choice we have made worjs out, then great!!

If it doesn't, well.... it's not the end of the world and we have the freedom to choose to do something different!

Enjoy the rest of your week my friend! :-)

Great question, Jessie. I think it depends on the circumstances: What kind of choice is it? You are right, of course...we must make the choice we feel is best for us. We can always change direction if necessary.

Totally agree Fran, circumstances have a huge part to play in any choices that we make...

Will we ever make the best ones though??

I don't think anyone can answer that correctly!!

We just need to make the best choices for us at any given moment in time!!

You speak truth, Jessie.

Much appreciated Fran!

We face choosing different choices every day. It's valid. Only you can decide what is best for you. All we can do is try our best even though some options might not be the best, but if they are wrong, we learn from our mistakes and move forward; thanks for sharing this blog post.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply. You are correct.

👍🏻

Thought provoking blog, Fran
I don't know what I would choose because they are both important to me

But I do know what I want to do and who I want to help with their struggles
So I guess I will use my creativity to make the best of my life while helping others.

You do well.

I appreciate your loyalty--you answer most if not all of my posts. Thank you!

Your posts are fantastic. I am learning a lot. It make me do a lot of reflection.

And that's one of my weaknesses, I was told being loyal - but I disagree, it is one of my strengths

Yes, indeed, it is one of your strengths.

Your answer encourages me to keep writing my little messages. I do hope others are benefiting as well.

I do hope so too :)

Yup! I read a book called choices by Shad Helmstetter many years ago. Opened up to me up to the realization that everything in life is a choice. We live or die by them. This is a lovely post. Thank you Fran.
