My Ten-Year Goal Is Off To A Good Start

Well, I have the first year of my 10-year goal mapped out, as I was chosen to be one of the people in the 2020 Super Affiliate Challenge. How nice -- now I just have nine more years to figure out. After finishing the Challenge, I have a feeling that will be easy.

I had one concern when I first got the invitation. My celebratingcats website is finally gaining some substance and a few followers. I don't want to desert it now. The big challenge for me will be to switch focus from one website to the other.

It will require much better scheduling of my time than I have done in the past. It will require starting earlier and taking fewer breaks. It will require writing posts ahead as often as possible.

I do believe I will "hire" an editor for the year. My new editor will be Lucinda the literate cat. She can do a lot more of my writing for me for the cat blog. It's easier to produce Lucinda's posts because for the most part they take more imagination than research.

I am not short on imagination, fortunately.

Those of us who were selected are so fortunate to have this opportunity. Thank you, Kyle, for providing me a way to make some concrete progress toward my dreams. Good luck and good fortune to all of you taking this challenge.

I am sure it will stretch us and make us grow. This is a good thing.

Congratulations Fran, that is good to hear. I am sure you will meet the challenge and look forward to hearing from you as you progress through the training when you are able.
PS Put the cats in charge of the other site, you never know what may happen... LOL
Ray

Yep, the cats might have a field day. Lucinda stays on track pretty well, though...sometimes she gets a little carried away with her opinions, but so far no harm done...lol...

Congratulations Fran!
I look forward to working in the Super Affiliate group as well :) It was so neat to wake up to the "welcome" mail from Kyle!
You have fun humor. Cats can be wild and inspiring for sure!
Best wishes to you

Yes, what a nice surprise. Looking forward to it. Have to write a review yet for my WA site, but have some ideas rolling around.

Congratulations Fran

Thank you -- hope I can meet the challenge head-on and conquer it.

You will Fran

Congratulations! Here’s to our success!

Cora

I'll drink to that!

Good Luck, Fran!

I will be right beside you for this challenge...so glad that this challenge is helping you in other areas :)

Good Luck to all of us!

Amen, sister.

I wish I was joining you but I did not apply and know I just simply don't have the time (as you understand). I will keep on the way I have been so far and hope this year things continue to pick up a little until my life settles down and I can spend more time on my sites. I really want to start a WA site but know it just wouldn't be logical right now. I have an idea for a more profitable niche site as well with higher priced items and therefore better commissions. I need to stay true to my first two sites for now and they are my passions anyway.

Good luck to you Fran as you embark on the first year of your great 10 year plan! I am sure you will learn a lot, produce a lot, and make great progress this year!

Jessica

Jessica, thanks so much.
I do understand why you didn't apply for this year's challenge. Hopefully, next year will be better.

The biggest challenge for me, I think, will be to do two websites at once. I can do this! Just have to organize...

That being said, I have to get a post about Burmese cats up on my site today. By the way, did I tell you I now have a cat? There is a picture in my cat book of a Bombay cat, which is basically a black Burmese. It's all black with golden eyes. The picture in the book looks so much like my Pogo that he could have posed for it!

Okay, enough! Thanks for the message, Jessica.

Yes! You told me you were off to bed and he snuggled you. I am anxious to go see a picture though! So his name is Pogo?

Yep. I would take one right away, but it won't do me much good, as my camera is not presently "talking" to my computer.

Fisrt of all, huge congratulations Fran, so much fun to be had. However, I do feel that some members are using a little known 'Loophole' in the use of 'pets' as either advisors or 'adstator scripto'...First we have squirrels, now it's cats...

lol...my cats were on here before the squirrels...I had to create the character, Lucinda, because my niche is about cats but I wanted to sell children's books that were not necessarily about cats. So I called on Lucinda the literate cat to write my book reviews. She also now does a monthly column called "Letters to Lucinda: Cat Behavior Solutions." She is a very talented kitty cat.

You are so Lucky to have her. I look at my two Huskies and, well....I may have to look eleswhere for inspiration.

Boof!

Wow! Way to go! Best wishes for success!

Thanks much!

First off Congratulations Fran!

I have a self-help blog as well. It's picking up nice traction as too.

I will posting one post a week until I complete the Super Affiliate Challenge.

I know once I'm done the challenge, I will be a much better marketer.

Jagi

Ditto...

Looking forward to the journey with you, Fran. Good luck to us all.
Colette and Philip

Yep, it should be a fun, scary, stupendous trip.
