From the Keyboard of a Newbie
Full Speed Ahead!
On the "it works" end of things, after joining in late February (2020), my landing page is now on the 1st page, 2nd position on Bing for my targeted keywords. Not ranked on Google yet (at least on the first page, I only have Jaaxy Lite - first page is all that matters ;) ), but I'm hoping to see it pop in there soon.
I'm pretty excited to see this progress, as my website has only been up for around 6 weeks. Hard work does pay off, and I've put in a lot of hours on it.
I haven't made any money yet, but this is a sign post that progress is being made. I'm not too worried about making money, as it's still very early. I'm more worried about continuing to put up good content, intelligently building out the site to be useful and engaging. I think the rest will take care of itself.
Just thought I'd share. I wasn't expecting to be ranked this soon. I may have to upgrade Jaaxy, as I'm curious as to where I sit on Google. ;)
I know there are others in WA that are new, and maybe like me, had doubts early on. It's the old, "It may work for some, but will it really work for me?" thoughts, that you have to push past if you want to succeed. The recent ranking for my landing page is evidence that what is taught in WA works.
Even those pulling in 6 or 7 figures a year started right where we are now.
As for me, I'll continue the training, as well as continue putting up good content. There is a lot of room for improvement from what I've done so far (and I got ranked, anyway ;) ), so I'll take what I learn and continue to improve, which can only increase my chances of hitting my goals.
Maybe my good news will encourage others who are new. It's not money, but it's the precursor to money. ;)
Happy marketing everyone!
-Steve

Well, I hit #1 on Bing and Yahoo, only to find myself completely off the charts a few days later. Someone mentioned that this is not unusual, and that I'm a victim of the Bing boogie and the Yahoo shuffle. Looks like I spoke to soon. :(
I'm curious as to how I can be #1, only to completely be off the first 20 pages in a single day, for a keyword that has little competition. I do not understand search engines.
Oh well, my site is still young. I've added two more posts, so hopefully that will help me regain lost ground.
This is definitely not a sprint, though it was exciting to see #1 rankings for a week or so. Of course, Google never ranked me, and still doesn't. Google is like that. ;)
I'll keep putting up good content and see what happens. I'm targeting different keywords in different posts, so it's not like all my eggs are in a single one-phrase bucket.
