Getting there - Slowly But Surely
On the 25th of April 2020 I joined Wealthy Affiliate. So its been a little short of a month now. Not entirely sure what I was in for, not even sure if this program would be a good fit for me. These were all questions running trough my head. What I did know was that it was up to me to take the first step, have a little trust ( in others and myself ) and that the future is in my own hands. It really came down to a choice. Do I just carry on, day in and day out with zero to no progress ? Or do I start putting myself out there and God willingly make a success of it ?
As you can see, I choice the latter. Some days feel like its really slow going, and that I have not done enough. But in fact looking back at the last month, I have actually done quite a lot. Working full time ( sometimes funny hours ), being a mom and wife, cooking, cleaning, etc. I feel quite proud that I managed to carve out time to actively pursue my dream of financial freedom for myself and my family.
I have not made a cent yet, but with all the training, help and encouragement of the community and seeing the final picture I am slowly but surely putting all the puzzle pieces together. It's probably a million piece puzzle, but its fine. I can see the picture. Every day, I put a few pieces together ( and sticking them down with glue ). Nothing can change what I have already done, I can only work forward ( to the next puzzle piece, so to speak ). Keeping focus, and not beating myself up if I didn't get around to write a post or continue with more training for that day.
I have built my website focusing on All Things Natural. From Natural remedies to aid in general health or ailments all the way to how and what to plant at home. Knowledge I have gained from my grandmother, remedies I have learned from others, and everything I have tried and tested myself over the years. I believe more people should know about these things. I am happy to share and teach what I have learned as well as turning this into a lucrative business. I am laying strong foundations right now, this way I know going forward the benefits will be even sweeter.
Over the next three months I believe I will get to the point of " seeing some money ". I am not putting an amount down, but I will be celebrating the moment I see anything. This is my real first goal. My second goal is, by the end of this year 2020 I want to dedicate myself full time ( or should I say, not working for someone else ) to my business. And my third goal is, by end December 2020 I would have replaced my monthly salary with the proceeds for my website.
I can see the picture. I believe in my picture, and I am determined to get there.

Congratulations on your progress. Sounds like a great niche. I'm in a similar one with natural supplements. My advice is just to stay patient and realize it'll likely take longer than you think. I'm at two years and feel like I'm just finishing up with the foundation. Good luck!!

Hi Felicity! I think you have a very good plan going. And your goals are great and achievable!
I am in the same spot as you right now but have been a member since 28th March. I had a lot of progress until middle of last month when the lockdown due to Covid-19 was lifted in Norway. With regular hours + overtime, instructing in my martial arts club, time is scarce to progress with WA. But, looking back in time from March until now I am actually doing quite good and are on the right track.
I have the same goal to see some money by the end of the third month. Money coming in or not by the 3rd month, I will still keep going. I now that this works.
