I was wondering if there was another way to make money off the video? With out being able to monetize it. It's gotten 10 million views in the last 8 months... It's a gold mine.
Have you applied for the Youtube Monetization?
As soon as you have at least 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch hours (which you certainly have), you can apply for it inside the YouTube Studio.
Another method is affiliate marketing.
Put an affiliate link to a specific product or service that is related to the video inside the description section.

That's what I was thinking, this video has a second part to it. I used something that generates an ad as you watch the next video. I should put my affiliate link for here in there. ;)
did you check the copy right issuesof the video and if your channel does not meet monetization requirements of 4000 watch hours and1000 subscribers,hope you can not monrtize.
The account was banned in 2012 from Adsense for "Invalid Clicks" so I can do that. My channel has 21k+ subs. The hours watch is insane. If you want to see, check out LibraryLies channel.
