Why, Google, Why?
Now, who else thought Google was pure as the driven snow and could Do No Evil? As it turns out, they have been up to a lot of "evil". It goes to show that there is still no perfect crime. The fallout from this will have to be huge in terms of fines.
What were they going to do with the data? I also not so naive as to believe that this is the only time they've done it. What have they done with the other data? Wow!! Of course, this was no accident. You don't buy a gun, buy ammunition, load it, take it with you, point at someone, and pull the trigger and then get to call it an accident. Google is guilty, plain and simple. I'm depressed now. If you're still trying to figure out what I'm talking about, here you go. What do you think? Are they guilty as sin or was it just accidental?

You have some decisions to make. The first part of the Serenity Prayer says,
" God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference."
You can choose not do do business with Google, change your goals to work with those that would like to break them down into small pieces (ala AT&T), or choose to work using them and accept who they are.
Guilty. Google...you are not the government...lol. I laugh but understand the severity of the issue. Although I tend to feel a bit like 2yorkiemom on the issue.
By buying and using these devices are we not inherently giving up our right to privacy. You can only stay private if you give up cellphones and any other things that have GPS and/or Wi-Fi /Satellite capabilities. Even my parents (old school) can now be tracked with their cellphones, even though they never answer them when I call.
It doesn't surprise me. They collect data on everything, That is what made them a giant.

Sad that trust is pretty much a word of the past!
