Trying the one product Christmas site. I personally like this one better. May need more reviews. What do you think?
I looked and it is a colorful site for sure for the holidays ---My question is will it rank in the ( serp )---- if it don't then no one will find it----If you have a list to email to or broadcast to for people looking for cameras and all----- it will work maybe for that ---
However, you may know how to get it to rank for free or you may be going to do PPC to get click through to it. It is interesting and I would like to know how it all turns out. It will be a could test to see if you can get visitors before Christmas----
I hope this helps on think about it for you. :-)
I love the holiday theme and timeliness of your site. You should get a lot of traffic. I would suggest CAMERA as more eye catching than CAMERAS for instant recognition. Do you have affiliate widgets to go directly to purchase sites? Wishing you the best
Hi - I love the site - (please don't take this the wrong way) - "basic", colourful, to the point, it is what it is - no bells and whistles - focussed on one thing - a lesson to us all - great job! (why do I never think of these first!!!!)
All the best, Mark
Trying to share as I learn. Trying to get my rank back up!!!
Be honest, no one should be offended.
Hi Darlene, I checked out your site. I love the Christmas counter. I also appreciate the colors and simplicity. Someone suggested to me (which I've been doing) to not add pricing to the product items. If the visitor is interested they'd click on link to get more info. Very nice. Tina

Another site review, please :)

I love the colorful Christmas theme. By the way, Amazon has a widget with different types of camera. But, that may unbalance your page.

I have created a 1 product Christmas site. Please look at it as that. I placed it on Facebook and Google+ and About Me. Advice on where I can place it would be appreciated. I am
I think the idea Hudson suggested is a good way to go, meaning his suggestion of pitching the cost per day over your lifetime, although I think you may prefer to pitch ithe cost per over the estimated life of the product.
I agree with the pictures to make it a little bit more... "fatty" :-) It would make it feel a bit warmer. But then I'm in the process of doing all the ABC on mine too... Keep going and loving what you do!
Thanks, always moving forward. My second one is looking better.

Your theme is very good for a Christmas Niche. There are several You Tube videos available that you could add to your site. I also place some of my articles on Linkedin.
Good site. The price was a little scary so maybe you want to pitch this in terms of the cost per day over your lifetime or years or .....? A product review might help because this is often the next step people take, so why not here on your site. Also some pictures, especially if you can get one or two of screen/film personalities that use this - I am sure this will boost sales,
Regards, Hudson
I agree, some pics would be nice. Also try making use of headers to highlight areas and allow readers to quickly jump to certain areas.
Try using some call to action words like "click here" and "check it out" etc etc
I glossed over the page so you may already be doing this....but, product reviews convert really well. Maybe do a product review and explain how it works, with pics etc.
I did something like that with one of my articles showing how to get a web 2.0 site.
the black font in the header is a lil hard to read because of the header pic.
Finally, blog commenting on forums and sports sites would be good. Maybe even offline marketing like printing out a business card or flyer and handing it out.
Looks fine, maybe you should try putting up some pictures in between the content. We are visual beings, it will make the article and the whole site look more appealing and easier to read!
Hi! I love the feel of the site, it's clean and easy to read.
The only down side is that from now on i will be scare to go to sleep! lol,
Eric

I wouldn't rely on anything but Google Analytics. I don't use widgets like "Count Per Day" as it slows down your website.

Could it take longer
Is there any chance you left out a letter or a dot when setting up under "Build My Website"?. I had a problem with a domain for about a day. In the end I discovered that I left some letters out of the name. I had gone over the name, over and over, but still hadn't noticed it.
No, I am baffled. I asked Kyle about it. I may open a support ticket unless you have a suggestion.
By what I understand, Namecheap thinks you want to transfer the domain name to another hosting service. Once you buy a domain you have to keep it with the same people you bought it from for 60 days or so. You simply want to POINT the DNS to wealthy affiliates. Maybe one more try with Namecheap would help them understand what you are trying to do. That is, if I understand you correctly. Rich said this below, but in much more technical terms!
2yorkiemum. Im sorry to hear that your having problems. I purchased a domain a couple of weeks ago from namecheap. Did everything right and pointed it to WA. Nothing happened. About 5 or 6 days later managed to get an answer from them. Sorry, it is impossible to point your domain for 60 days. Sorry for the inconvenience. That was it. I still dont know why. I had to buy another domain. I hope this isn't the same for you. Judy
I think there is confusion about "buying" a domain and putting a bid in for a domain that is pre-owned, being transferred, up for auction or is due for expiry. It's important not to "make an offer" or "reserve" a domain name that is due for expiry for example, instead of buying a new domain name. :) Rich.
You're not thinking that you have to "transfer" the domain to WA, that's what this discussion between you and Namecheap sounds like?! You simply want to change the DNS of the domain, it stays at Namecheap and points to the hosting here: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wa-hosting-setting-up-your-domain-dns WA isn't a registrar so you can't transfer a domain name to WA. However, 60 days after purchase is often what's quoted as a the minimum period before a domain can be "transferred" to a new registrar, which isn't what you want to do. Rich.
I followed Kyle's instructions, as I did the first 3 times I purchased domain from namecheap. This 4th time, I did nothing different, yet no domain on my WA page. It seems a WA problem??
If you believe it's a WA issue then open a Support Ticket on the blue bar in Websites & Hosting. Rich.
Nope it should be instantaneous if you set the DNS at checkout. If you went back and changed it afterwards, it can take up to 72 hours (worst case scenario) for the change to take effect and your ISP cache to flush although it's often much quicker. You can check it's populated here http://www.whatsmydns.net/ If so then just build your website following this training https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/create-a-website-on-your-own-domain :) Rich.
This would have been my 5th website. My 3rd buy from Namecheap. I was going to flip it for profit. Will check with Namecheap.
