I have been thoroughly blown away by a lot of the niche sites being built.

Keep it coming!

That is all. :)

Cool :)

How many times have you changed niches?

I was just about to ask this question myself! I am new to WA and thought I had a niche that I could write about. Though, I am interested in it, when I started writing about it, it was a drain and I realised that even though I like it, I cannot write about it.

So, I am changing my niche today!

I guess it is all a learning curve...

Many thanks and best wishes,
Aman

Thank you for the tips. I hope ypu find a niche that suites you best.

thanks Q! I think I might be on to something hahaha!

Those are good tips. Finding a niche is a delicate balance of something you're interested enough in to keep working on and something that you can earn some money with.

Yes, Wendy you're absolutely right. Thanks for chiming in. :)

Great tips! I think I can totally understand changing your niche though, I'm still trying to figure mine out. Hope your new niche works out for you!

Good tips for the new people to find something to start. And it is ok if it takes a couple of changes to really find your fit. It is like putting on shoes, you try them on till you get one that fits good, then you walk in it.

Very good advice!

I do love the analogy you use here... especially since it has to do with shoes! haha! Thanks for reading... I do hope it helps others because two months (well really one active) and no progress is not a good look!

I read the article. I like how organized and straight forward it is. I do not see any link there, so maybe one would help.

Now that you have a comment, keep on writing! You will do well.

Thank you bloveds! I appreciate the input... you guys have made me feel more at ease. I will implement your suggestions.

Well I just read it and YOU HAVE A COMMENT!!!! They have bi-polar they said and really enjoyed your article, (although you will read that from them soon enough lol)

So this was your niche, and now it isn't your direction anymore. That is ok. Lets see that new article!!

haha thanks Skyhorse! And I thank dwnovacek for her kind comment!

Very nice article! I don't have this, but I enjoyed the article. Good tips!

HI there,
lo24x7 I read your article on the hub, I think it is great information, well thought out and put together in an easy to read format. My opinion if you will, I wonder if its just the topic itself. Being a nurse for 17 years society still shy away from the topic of mental illness sadly. My advice is hang in there and believe in what you believe in and they will come around.

Thanks Jenni. I do think you are on to something. I actually canned the niche altogether due to my own fears of the exact thing you are describing. When I went to my mom and told her what I was doing, she was horrified. lol. She is part of the reason I decided to make a change.

Congrats! I, myself, am Bipolar and enjoyed your Hub and think you made some wonderfully valid points. Great job!

Thanks Deborah! I appreciate the feedback. I wrote this for my original niche site which was going to be about helping bipolar people find and keep jobs / work from home for themselves. I got cold feet about writing publicly about my own disorder so I canned it. It feels good to know someone in this community understands.

as a bonus I am ranked #1 for this article in Google (assuming i'm searching correctly, and it's entirely possible i'm not lol). I am pretty happy!!

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows how I'd go about changing my payment details for WA? I'm specifically trying to change my payment method from CC to Paypal and I do not

I'm having a similar problem...

Yesterday I got an email from my PayPal account that told me the following:

"The payment for your subscription to Wealthy Affiliate Platinum Membership + All Tools, Support & Coaching failed because you do not currently have a back-up funding source for your instant transfer payment.Wealthy Affiliate has been notified of this failed payment."

I contacted PayPal support and they told me that the WA has some info about my account that does not match the info that PayPal has for my account...I'm not sure what that is except maybe my credit card # because BofA changed my card # in the last 2 weeks and I had changed that card # on my PayPal account..

I believe I will probably have this same problem with my Jaaxy account as I'm also a member there, also...

Can anyone advise me on how I should proceed?

Hi j, If I understand correctly, you will need to pm K/C here and have your new credit card details updated... Which does not really make a lot of sense actually. If you have a current card linked to PayPal, that should have just been used? I'd pm K/C, though, please let me know if I have the story wrong...
d

When I joined, I went premium on the 13th of the month. I would like to see if I can get the WA payment taken out on the 15th of each month since I will not have funds available until that time. Anyone know how I do that? Sure don't want to be cancelled out of premium!

I just got back to your PM regarding this. If you want to change a payment date, it would require a cancel and a resubscribe (on the date you wish to be billed). This is the case because each payment is tied to a subscription.

I'm glad he got back to you.

See, I told you he's pretty quick!

yep! funny thing is i've never felt so frantic to pay a bill in my life... lol. If you knew me you'd see how hilarious that truly is... I don't want to lose any of the work i've put in.

You would have to cancel your existing account and resubscribe if you want to go from credit cards to Paypal (since these are different payment types). This is not a big issue and the resubscribe will reconnect all the features of your account.

When you cancel your existing membership, the resubscribe link will be sent to you immediately. Let me know if you need any further help.

thanks... I just changed to a diff credit card and I'm doing a bit of a dance to get funds moved around to pay other stuff. :) No biggie. I realize I totally procrastinated on this and failure to plan on my part does not constitute an emergency on your part. Sorry and thanks for responding.

I see this post was a year ago...is this still the case? If so, my payment just went through yesterday, so would I need to wait until next month to a day or so before my next payment to do this so I don't end up double paying? Thank you!

Still no reply from Kyle or Carson on this. I feel like I am in a vacuum. Does anyone else know if what I am asking is even possible? I am fairly sure if I don't handle this I will be cancelled in a day or so. I know Paypal is an option for payment because it's listed when you choose the upgrade option.

I'm not too sure. Did you PM Kyle? He's usually very good about responding through PM. I really hope you aren't cancelled if you don't get in touch in time!

Thanks so much for your concern! Looks like he got me covered.

Okay. No problem. Glad I could help.

Hello. I don't see an option to change a payment method either. Looks like there's only an option to update your credit card information. If anything, I would contact Kyle or Carson and see if there's a way you can switch to Paypal.

I know those guys are busy I was trying to avoid if possible. But I'll get on that! thanks for the speedy response.
