Are you feeling a little bit lost? Are you feeling overwhelmed? Or maybe you've just got started and you're really excited about learning affiliate marketing.

Well, if that sounds like you there is a good chance that you're stuck and don't know where to go next.

I'm going to be sharing a few tips on how to get out of that mindset and how to get by the first hurdles and doubts when you just starting with affiliate marketing.

So if you don't know who I am, my name is Frank and I am new to this community, however, I have been around the world of affiliate marketing for a long time and it took me a very long time and many failures to finally see some positive results. I am also building a blog where I'll document my journey but also share tips and content to help beginners get started and passed the information overload phase newbies often face.

So if you had just started or you're just learning about affiliate marketing, chances are you've probably really excited and you're trying to dive in and learn everything that you possibly can in a short amount of time. You want to get that success all the gurus are displaying all over the internet especially after they make you think success is easy to achieve. At that point, you goal to start making lots of money online seems to be very reachable.

You probably jumped from video to video and read blog posts after blog post. You've got all this information in your head, all these big plans and .... you don't take any clear actions and you end up stuck. You were so overloaded with information that it became overwhelming and you're probably staring at your screen going, what am I doing? What do I have to do? All those feelings and emotions that you have because you really want to get going are also the ones that stop you.

Don't panick, it has happened to all of us when we first started.

Stop what you were doing. Take a deep breath and think to yourself:

"What am I doing? Why am I trying to learn everything at once? "

You're not going to get anywhere, if you do that. What I highly recommend you do, is to write down your overall goal and small goals that will lead you up to your main one. The key is to define small ACHIEVABLE goals.

That way, you can clearly and quickly see your progress while moving forward to reach what you had set for yourself. If you keep trying to learn everything all at once, you will get overloaded and either get stuck again or all together quit. The reason why WA is so successful at helping people is the fact that they completely integrated the notion of small goals in their system. Each task, achievement or training is segmented to be learn, understood and applied by the community. It is the main reason why I truly believe this program is so effective and beloved by its members.

Now I'm gonna tell you how you could do this for your online venture. It's going to help you immensely and it's going to speed up the whole process. You need to take action on EVERYTHING you learn. For example, once you set up your hosting, learn how to install Wordpress, publish your first article, ..... Read, learn, action, read, learn, action.... Just keep performing small tasks. Don't keep trying to learn about many things at the same time. If you do that, you're going to eliminate the information overload because what's going to happen is once you've done a task, you can forget about it, put it aside and move onto the next one.

I see way too many people trying to do everything or get stuck. They get overwhelmed with all the information that they've just learned and don't know where to start. A lot of time, even really simple tasks start to become really difficult task because people minds are just foggy and overloaded with information. So if you're stuck or if you're just getting started, I highly recommend segmenting your tasks. Set up small achievable tasks and stay laser focused while following your plan.

Now that you know the game plan, stop spending so much time reading and make sure to take action on everything you learn.

There's seem not to enough time Frank, with other issues of life you have to do. I agree with you that having a systematic plan of action do help. Many thanks Frank.

I've always been a rule follower, perhaps to the level of being a fault, at times. However, I appreciate your post that reinforces taking the training and doing as it is prescribed (read, watch, action) is a good thing. Being a rule follower may prove again to be an advantage.

Great post Frank.
Thank you for sharing.
Best wishes.

Something I really needed to hear. I am all over the place trying to accomplish everything at once. I'm going to concentrate on one thing at a time and master it first before the next activity. Thanks
