Hi. Everbody. I am confused of the difference between tags and categories. How do you make a better use of them? Show what is your own way.

My opinion.

As Jerry stated, categories are important to get your content organized.

Tags on the other hand will help you more organized if you have huge variables for your products - for example if you have laptop niche and 'Brands' is one of the categories but you also want to segregate those laptops into different specification, for example type of processors etc, tags can help you maintain the organization without having put all of them into categories.

Hope that helps.

Hey Ewo,

In my opinion, you can ignore the tags. It’s not very important. Categories are important though.

Categories help organize your articles. For example you can have a category for reviews, under reviews you can have subcategories of bike reviews, bike accessories review, etc.

And then you can have other categories like general cycling tips, your own cycling journal, etc.

I hope this answers your question. Personally I don’t use tags.

Thanks. Jerry. Somehow, Schema theme shows the main menu on the top of page and categories on the second location besides the logo. Is that better organized way?

And I am stuck how to rearrange the categories on the second location. I want "About" to show up on the far right side.

You should be able to edit your menu inside your WP Dashboard under Appearance>Menu. If somehow you can’t do that, there should be a place you can edit in your theme options.

You can search for Schema FAQ, Q&A or their support.
