It's no secret that starting a business is tough. You have to put in the time and work before you see any type of return. However, one thing people don't always think about when they are planning on starting their own business is the idea - not how much money they will need to make it happen.

Ideas can be shared without costing anything, but if you want your idea to grow into a real company, then you're going to need some funding too. So many people think that they need money to start a business. In actuality, it's the ideas and hard work that start businesses.

Entrepreneurs don't get paid for their ideas, but instead must spend time working them out in order to make any money off of them at all. Ideas can come from anywhere - brainstorming sessions with friends or family, reading an article on the Internet, thinking about your passions - anything can spark creativity and lead you down a path where you'll find success!

Think about the last time you came up with an idea and started a business. Do you remember what your first thoughts were? What did you need to make it happen? Did you think of cash and how much money would be needed to start that business, or did you think of ideas for the product or service that will help change people's lives?

Ideas are what get businesses off their feet, not money.

"Ideas are what start businesses, not money." This is a quote from Howard Schultz. He was the founder of Starbucks and he also believed that ideas started companies; not money. There are many examples in history where people had an idea and went on to make billions of dollars because of it. The quote is true: Ideas are powerful!

Ideas are the key to success in business. We all know that, but many people don't take it seriously enough. Ideas are what start businesses and not money. If you have an idea for a product or service, then you need to go out there and make it happen!

You'll probably need some funding upfront so that you can create your prototype or first batch of inventory, but if your idea is any good at all then someone will invest in you--and they should because ideas are what start businesses and not money!

Not everyone is born with a silver spoon in their mouth. When you have nothing, it's difficult to come up with an idea for a business. But that doesn't mean you can't start one! Ideas are what start businesses - not money.

I agreed that ideas are the start of any business. But business need money to function and stay as a business. I can't think of any business that got started with an idea and doesn't function without money.
If a business got started with an idea and there is no money involved, then it will still remain an idea. It doesn't matter if it's for profit or non-profit or for a cause, money will be exchanged. Take away the money, and the idea will sit there until it crumble to nothing. Ideas for business and money are inter-dependent of each other. All the best!

I mentioned that even though ideas start businesses, funding will be needed. You could have the money but don't have a clue of what kind of business you'll run, then what's the goal. You need an idea and a plan, and then the financing will come.

I see your point friend. But what I'm trying to say is that an idea is just an idea. To start a business or form a company with that idea, you will need money. And you're right with the last sentence, you have the idea, you setup a plan, then financed the business. Thanks for clarifying that. All the best!

Another excellent post. So true.
