Where to now?
Well, what an eye opener. My chosen niche was sewing for the slim/tall girls. When I go into the keyword search, I get "nothing' or very little. I'm thinking that could be good or bad. Good as in no competition, bad as in nobody asking the questions????
So, any suggestions of where to go would be appreciated. I think perhaps I just need to "dig a little deeper' perhaps. I tried "fashion" and of course there are NUMEROUS sites with that but these have nothing to do with actually designing and/or sewing the clothing. Do I just begin with the fabric, needle and thread and go from there.
I found one site that had patterns for slim girls; not my forte. I want to help people with children and who sew know the changes they need to make to have clothing FIT. I'm a little stumped.
I have completed the first training; however, will go over several again until the information STICKS IN MY "ole" head. (why the comment about "sticking"). Perhaps you need a reminder that when I was in school THERE WERE NO COMPUTERS, PERIOD! We used pencil and paper. We didn't even have Xerox copiers, much less the kind you could have at home and copy anything. Sometime, I'll write a blog on that especially for the younger groups.
Enough for now, I'll have to dig down and figure out where I go from here. I'm sure I WILL FIGURE IT OUT. One of greatest atributes is, I'm STUBBORN and stick with it.

I research a little bit-> I have some ideas for you.
First, your industry will be the Embroidery because the embroidery is just another name of sewing :)
Second, your niche would be the embroidered women clothes or clothes for tall girls. -> these two 'embroidered women clothes' and 'clothes for tall girls' are two keywords that I found in Jaxxy keyword tool.
oh-oh I just have one idea-> but I'm not sure it's great or not. :P
My idea is I would choose the 'clothes for tall girls'
Here is my reason. Tall girls and women have a hard time to choose the clothes and fashion in normal stores like Walmart, Amazon, Marshal, Target, etc. as the result of her height and weight.
-> therefore, it's very hard to find already-made clothes which fit -> the only way is the hand-made craft -> Embroidery is the only way (this is my subjective ) I'm not sure there is another way -> maybe I need to research more too.
I think you can do it because I did watch one Chinese series movie about this Embroidery industry. -> They embroider almost everything. The old generation still embroiders the traditional Chinese dress. The young generation is creative and embroiders everything for the chair sit, the party dress, for house decoration, for a towel, for a gift to another, etc.
If you are consistent to do it, I can send a PM - private message - to you. I will attach the link and the information about that Chinese movie using the Embroidery as the main story and place.
The movie has English subtitle-> so as you watch that movie, you would have a better and clearer picture. They have enough information, design, materials and many things to create one series of movie. Each episode has about 45 minutes-> you would see how Chinese grows the Embroidery industry.
I'm sorry for my bad English -> I can not explain everything to you since I'm not the native speaker.
Embroidery is a little more complicated than just sewing and clothing construction. However, it may be a good place to start. Thank you for the information. Don't worry about you English. Esther, if you go to "MoneyMagnet3" profile page, Shalisha is her name. She posted the other day a great article on how to research your niche. We saved it and told her how good it was. She gives several ideas for how to do just what you are asking.
The article is about three down on her profile page and it is called "Easy ways to Research Your Niche."
This lady has a lot of experience and knowledge.

How do I find MoneyMagnet3
You see the long grey bar at the top of every page that starts "Need help......."? Type her name in there but make sure it's her full name "MoneyMagnet3" because there are several MoneyMagnets.
Ok, found it. Found it very interesting. BUt How do I save i here. Just like any other "saving process"?
We think you mean you want to save Money Magnet's post so that you can refer to it later. If that's correct then pull up her post again. At the top of the post, on the left-hand side, and right below the title of the post you will see a star outlined in grey. Click on that star and a small window will appear giving you the option to create a tag so that you can easily find the post later. As this post relates to niches, you might want to enter "Niches" as the tag name. (If, in the future, you save another post relating to niches then give that the same tag name and, voilá, all your saved posts relating to niches will be grouped together). After you enter the tag name click "Add tag" and the post is saved.
To view the post again, go back to that long grey bar at the top of every page and click on the star on the far right-hand side. A window will appear headed "My Favorites" and the post will be there listed under "Niches"
