Pitty party is over! i hope.
Okay, enough already. I've spent a couple days "feeling sorry for myself" and all but giving up for good. Now I'm giving myself a good KICK IN THE REAR. Get up and get going. The only ones who fail are those who don't try. (Well, I've tried, but it still escapes me.) SO-o-o-o, I'll try again. If at first you don't succeed, try, try again.
I'm having a good long heart to heart with myself. It really makes no sense when someone is given as many talents and I have been given to "give up" and not try any more. SO, hopefully I'm through feeling sorry for myself.
May I blame it on the weather or some other outside source?, NOT? Oh, well, such is life..
Now to get back and get "with it". Then, get this site up and going, making progress.
Okay, back to the talents for a minute. 1. A very good mind - and i still have most of it even at this age of 83 years. 2. I was given a very good soprano voice (which like a lot of things at this age have fallen by the wayside.) 3. Not bad looking (I'm told). 4. Pretty good seamstress.,. etc., etc.,etc.
So, why do I continue to put myself down. It's called internal dialog and it's NOT EASY to change after 80+ years. But, I'll keep trying.

We are only as old as we feel inside. I understand, because I have those kinds of days myself. no telling how many times over the last 4 years I've needed to give myself the pep talk - don't give up - quitters never succeed...
But it is true, only giving up means certain failure.
And some days I feel like I'm 183, not just 83. Most days I'm okay. Just days I miss my 'lost" childern . I'm very thankful for this community and all their caring ways. Thank you again for your help and caring.
Always good to look at yourself and recognize the talents and attributes you have along with giving yourself a good kick start! There are plenty of days I have to give myself a good talking to in order to get things accomplished, lol
